@strawbrykiwi Some dogs are also shy. Dogs fear the unfamiliar. It's fight or flight, and most choose flight response. Socializing helps.

@strawbrykiwi sure signs your dog is fearful if she shivers, anxious, scared or runs & hide. If not, then perhaps your dog is an observer.

@strawbrykiwi Does Belle have a fear of other dogs? Sometimes traumatic events with other dogs can cause dogs to retreat & not socialize.
