With the rate of computer acceptance within our lives, seeking to invest into a computer franchise is being a lucrative possibility. There are several venues to look at when investigating what would be the best in your area.
Some of the most common today are the following:
- Computer sales and service - pretty much self descriptive
- Software programming - creating a single program or suite of programs for mass distribution
- Specialty programming - creating one of’s for companies
- Website development - again, pretty much self descriptive
- High-end Specialty contracting - providing a high-tech solution such as device or system administration, or new installs
- Combination of services - could be a model of some or all of the above items
Regardless of the computer franchise model you choose, it’s vitally important to do your homework before spending a large amount of time and money on the venture. One important factor is the need for an adequate population base for your product or service. With software products, if you competition doesn’t beat you up on the Internet, then the world becomes your potential customer.
I’ve been running a computer business now for several years quite successfully. I’ve dabbled in most of the areas I mentioned earlier, but I’ve had my greatest success in providing custom one of’s work for companies. What is important is the ability to turn it into a replicatible model where you can make very slight modifications to the product and re-sell it.
Another great hidden jem to the computer franchise enthusiast is the shear amount of free open source software that is available. What you may find in the open source realm may not be know to others and can be installed and supported in a pay for model. I’ve been very successful in this endeavor. You cannot privately license open source software as your own, but you can install it and support it.
To be honest though, I didn’t really start to see headway until I discovered that the secret to wealth creation was to create an easily replicatible and automated system. Now there is no way to completely make money without effort, (but I’m still working on it), but you can get pretty close. Some of my monthly income streams consist of automated services that permit me to make about $500 per month for about 15 minutes of work per month.
I’ll be offering a more indepth explanation of what can really be done and how it has to be done to be successful in any up and coming franchise endeavor. It’s currently on the drafting board and I hope to be releasing it in the next couple of months. As I have updates, I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Venturing into a computer franchise can be a quite exciting and profitable! Consider your potential options before you commit to any actions though.

Now, this is probably not the right place to place this post, but I discovered a change in the way Google is showing organic search results.
Take a peek at the video below to get more details:
Now, if Google decided to take this world wide, the changes to SERPs could be incredible. You will see a definite falling away of sites that offer no or little value, as the actual search engine users are making the capital decisions to ranking!
Good original website content will become a must! There’s no doubt about it!
I’ll post more as I discover more.
