Do Not Fear the Red Light Ring of Death! Conquer It!
Dear Frustrated Xbox 360 Owner,
If you are like me, you just about threw your 360 out the window when the red lights appeared. Though I was able to control myself, when I learned I was going to have to send my Xbox 360 back to Microsoft at my own expense, it took a lot of convincing from my brother not to just go sell my broken Xbox for parts and save up for a new one.
What To Do??
Instead, we decided to look online to see if there were any other options. We found one of the more popular methods to fix your xbox 360 was called the "towel method." This involves wrapping your 360 in a towel, letting it run for awhile, then turning it off...No joke. Needless to say, after learning about what this has done to many people's 360's, it was clear that it would not work and could cause more harm than good...
The Solder Method
We also found a "solder" method. Now, I am somewhat tech savvy and have done some soldering in my day, but this stuff was reserved for the true nerds of the world! Not only that, soldering your Xbox voids its warranty and is no simple task. The Xbox 360 is an advanced piece of equipment. No amateur should be diving into the depths of the circuitry with a soldering iron. It is just not a good idea!
As we were about to give up, we stumbled upon a site that proposed a solution without any technial mumbo jumbo. They claimed to be able to show how anyone can fix the red ring of death within a couple of hours. We were skeptical, but decided to go ahead and sign up to see if this was the real deal.
Sure enough, we were pleasantly surprised. And they were right, anyone could do this. The videos really were step-by-step and it got my xbox 360 working once again. Look at the quality of their tutorial videos.
Because I was so happy with the results, I decided to set up this site and investigate other Xbox 360 repair sites and let you know which ones provide the best info and the simplest tutorials. I don't want countless others going through the same hassles as I did trying to find a quick and proven way to fix my xbox 360. The sites listed here are the best of the best, and all provide excellent tutorials that are guaranteed to fix your Xbox 360.Latest Xbox 360 Repair Sites Reviewed, updated: (August 7, 2008)

![]() | threeredlightsfix.com Overall Rating This site was one of the first to offer an alternative to the towel method and the soldering method. As a result, they achieved a lot of popularity. And while their service is still excellent, they are not quite up to par with our top ranked site. While threeredlightsfix.com offers video tutorials, I found them slightly less engaging than our top site. The quality of the videos were not quite as good. But rest assured, you will be able to fix your xbox with this site, but you won't be able to upgrade to 720P HD. That is really one of the sticking points for making Red Light Fix Pro Gamer Edition our top site. Learn more... | Overview:
