 Here is a unique bicycle for commuting, shopping or other non-sportive riding. It's a modified Cannondale H300 hybrid with a 19 (50 cm) center-to-center aluminum mixte frame. The rear wheel features the bike's nicest component (along with the seat): a White Industries Eccentric Eno single--speed hub. The excellent wheelbuilders at Bicycle Habitat laced a Mavic Open Sport 700 C (same size as road bikes and hybrids) rim to it with DT spokes. They also built the front wheel with the same rim and spokes and a Sun/Ringle sealed front hub. The handlebars are Nitto Promenade: The best upright bars. And your tush will rest on a Brooks B67 saddle that matches (more or less) the grips on the handlebars. Shimano LX cantilever brakes with Mathauser pads will bring you to a quick stop. You'll get a White Industries Eno 18 tooth freewheel, which sells for about 90 new, and a Wipperman rustproof chain. And the Sugino XD crank features a 38 tooth Shimano chainring and sealed bottom bracket. The fenders and bottle cage come from Velo Orange. There's a tail light mounted on the rear fender and another on the rack. Even the seemingly-insignificant parts (like the Shimano Deore XT sealed-bearing headset) are of very high quality. Ridden briefly as a commuter. Looks almost new. I'm selling because I incurred a few more expenses than I anticipated. I hate to see this one go. But my loss is your gain!
