Hair extensions are something that every woman wants at some point in time.  Weather your hair is fine and limp, and need some extra oomph, or if it is short and you just can’t wait another day for it to grow, or if you want to rock some long sexy hair for a special event or a night out, extensions are AMAZING.  We are so lucky to live in an age where we can easily achieve almost any look we want.   Even more amazing is how easy it is to get that look.

When you come in for your free consultation with me, I will advise you on what type of extensions would work best for your needs,  and your lifestyle.  I will do a color match for you, so your extensions are a perfect seamless match to your own hair, and give you an exact price quote.

I utilize two different types of extensions:  Great Lengths, which are individually bonded to your hair.  They are GORGEOUS, and last you 5-6 month with no maintenance.  Great Lengths are perfect for when your hair is short and you need to have it long NOW.  It is a great aid in growing out your hair through those awkward lengths. The other kind of extensions I also use  are clip-in extensions, which I currently wear and just adore.  They are perfect for if your hair is already shoulder length or longer, and you are looking for length, fullness, and an overall sexier, look.  The hair can be styled as if it was your own, and is washable, and heat safe for curling and flat irons.

Both types of extensions are very high quality, 100% human hair.  I have worn both types personally and love them both equally.  Call me today and set up your free consultation to see which one is right for you.

How much would you LOVE to have silky, straight hair every single day?  If you are straightening your hair using hairdryers and flat irons everyday, then you are the perfect candidate for Japanese hair straightening.

Using the flat iron more than a couple of times a week is severely damaging.  You are actually doing more harm than good by not getting your hair permanently straightened.  Continual use of hot tools on your hair undoubtedly dries your hair to the point where it is brittle, and eventually breaks, not to mention the lack of shine and luster your hair will have.  My beautiful Japanese straightening system  delivers unbelievable straightness, with brilliant shine and zero frizz.

I have be serving my clientele with this amazing straightening system for 8 years now.  They absolutely love their hair and keep coming back for more when their curly/frizzy hair grows back in.  Once you experience life with easy, straight, silky, frizz-free hair, you will wonder why you waited so long.  I am your Orange County Japanese hair straightening certified expert, and I am proud to make you feel and look absolutely beautiful.  Call me to schedule your free consultation and price quote.

Hair extensions can give you that little push you need to go from good, over to WOW! Hair extensions in Orange County are so common, but most women don’t know where to start when they decide they want them.

I have two types of extensions for you.  Great Lengths are a wonderful way to give you that look you want without having to think about it again for another 5 months.  Each piece of Great Lengths hair extensions is individually bonded to your own hair to give you an AMAZING, almost permanent head of hair.  You can curl, flat-iron, throw up in a ponytail, and just generally forget about your extensions.   These are the easiest, most user-friendly extensions on the market.  I wore my Great Lengths for 4 years, and I loved every minute.  People were always amazed to learn that it was not, in fact my hair.  As your hair grows, the extensions grow with your hair for a seamless look.  In about 5 months (average) time, the hair is completely removed, and new beautiful hair is replaced right up close to your scalp again.  For myself, I was so thankful to have found this extension system to help me grow my hair from a bad, very short haircut, to long again, and I am so proud to have this available to you.

But, sometimes the only thing standing in our way of having a long, full, sexy head of hair is the cost.  Thankfully, we have options, ladies.  I offer a gorgeous line of extensions that clip-in to your own hair.  Let me tell you, this is truly, amazingly easy to do, and looks so great! I have been sporting my clip-ins recently and I just love them.  My own hair is long enough to wear on its own, but I love to have to option to clip in these extensions and go into bombshell mode.  They are perfect for a night out, an event, or even daily wear.  I plan on wearing my clip-in extensions in my own wedding coming up!  When you come in for your free consultation, I custom color match these extensions for you,  and when you come back in, I custom cut them to blend in with your hair, and I teach you how easy it is to clip them in.

Please call me to set up your free consultation to see what option works best for you.

One the most life changing things a girl can do with her looks is straighten her hair.  Don’t you love how your hair looks after your stylist gives your a sliky, shiny blow-out, but hate how you can never quite re-create that level of sleek straightness for yourself at home?  Japanese hair straightening is perfect for the girl who wishes she was born with sleek, straight, frizz-free hair.  How awesome (and time saving!) would it be to cut your styling time down by 75% in the mornings?  Wouldn’t it be amazing to get in the pool and not fear ruining the hard work you put into getting it straight? I am your Orange County hair straightening expert.  Give me a call, I would love to give you an amazing new head of straight, beautiful, shiny hair!

There was a day that Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas looked good.  I’m not saying she looks terrible now, but she once looked her absolute best to her potential.  And that day has passed.  Why? Her hair color.  All the way.  She looked great as a sunny blonde.  She looked bright, glowing and had a certain allure to her that was really all her own.  She just looked….right.  Now, with this new darker color she is sporting, I just can’t help but feel like she seriously downgraded. Some may love the dark hair on her, and some may feel like it is fun to change it up, and believe me, I am a HUGE advocate of change, but when we are talking about her best look, I have to say I don’t think the dark nails it.

Do you ever wonder what your best look is?  I would love to help you find it.  Set up a complimentary consultation with me and I will show you which colors work best for you and why.

My newest obsession: It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Product.  I actually discovered this a couple months back and my hair has been LOVING it.  I won’t go one day without it!!  I honestly notice a difference if I don’t use it; it makes my hair really soft, shiny, and really, really, smooth.   It’s a relatively new product and you can’t get it anywhere but the internet right now,  unless you have a cosmetology license.   Christina Applegate even gave it a shout-out in her feature in People Magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful People issue in May.

I have been using it on my clients and they love it as much as I do.  They really have been loving how wonderful their hair feels with this stuff.   Cocktailing it with Enjoy Hair Treatment Oil gives it amazing shiny, bouncy results, so it really is a versatile product that doesn’t limit you.   For your convenience, I have it for you to purchase so you can skip the shipping fees and get the smooth, bouncy, shiny hair we all want.

Oh, and it smells soooo good too :)

I get questions about this from time to time so I thought I’d discuss it here. All humans lose anywhere from 70 to 100 hairs or more per day.  That is  normal, and nothing to worry about.  Hairs shed and new ones grow back in it’s place, much like skin cells. So never worry when you are shampooing  and there are some hairs left in your fingers, it’s completely normal.

Most hair loss is genetic, meaning, you are just going to lose it, and you can’t do a damn thing about it ( male pattern baldness). But sometimes there are other reasons.   For the most part, your hair, skin, and nails all reflect whats going on inside our bodies, and if there is something wrong or traumatic going on,  you might experience hair loss.  There are many reasons: stress, illness, chemotherapy, medication, giving birth, too much vitamin k, infection, hormone imbalance…etc.  I had an experience with a male client that was rare but interesting: he always had think, full amazing hair, and one day as I was doing my usual cut on him, I noticed a completely bald patch the diameter of a quarter on his scalp that was never there before. He was completely unaware of it when I showed him, and he of course, was alarmed.  I told him to see a doctor after assuring him that frequent hat wearing would not have caused that.  Two days later he thanked me because he had seen the doctor and found out that the hair loss was due to an untreated tooth infection.  Who knew?!  So I guess the moral to that story is to see your hairstylist and dentist often.

Really, what is most often mistaken for hair loss is breakage. A lot of women abuse the flat iron or change hair colors too often, and end up making their hair too brittle and it simply breaks off, making them think they are experiencing thinning hair.  To that I say, be good to your hair and it will be good to you.  Don’t demand your stylist take you from dark to light to dark and back to light again unless you want a pixie cut.  Please don’t flat iron your hair every single day. And for the love, please, please don’t rip through your hair with that brush!  Use a leave in conditioner every time you wash and condition your hair. Yes, shampoo, condition, then leave in conditioner. No, it won’t weigh your hair down.  I promise.

I have added a new product to my arsenal, and THIS product I am REALLY excited about.  It’s called Blazing by Scruples, and it is the most amazing blonding product I have ever seen.  I, as always, tested it on myself and loved it! My highlights were SHINY, and the color was unlike any bleach or highlift tint could ever deliver.  It left my hair in perfect condition, no breakage.  I will NEVER use another lightener on my hair again; this stuff is truly amazing.  I have used it on every client that highlights since, and they even comment on how their hair looks even better than before.  Now you can have sunny, blonde hair that is shiny AND really healthy.

Hi!  I am SO excited to have a new product by Enjoy called Hair and Skin Treatment Oil!  I tested it on myself and I just love it.  My hair is so shiny, its almost reflective.  It it a great protectant between your hair and any heat source you use for styling.  As an added benefit, it makes frizz seems to vanish all together, and the softness is unbelievable!   I love multi-taskers…and this one does it’s job worth.  I really like it, and I am loving the results on my clients thus far!  Come see me for a silky blow-out and see if you like it too!

P.S.  It says you can use it on your skin as well, I tried this and it’s nice, but I think I am going to save every last drop for my locks. :)   xoxo
