On a slightly different note how about a trip on The Orient Express
:) Train Travel at it's best and not an exercise class in sight!

This exercise is the most important technique in Pilates that you
can learn, in our opinion. I wouldn’t call it difficult, but it can
be tricky to get the hang of it at first – it’s a bit like learning
to pat your head and rub your stomach at the same time – but once
you get it, you will never forget how to do it.

The Malibu Pilates Chair is an impressive piece of engineering - it
packs huge results into a small, easy-to-store piece of equipment.
Shaped like a cross between a chair and a step stool, it folds up
and out of the way when you aren't using it, but quickly snaps into
place to create a sturdy, safe base for your workout.

If you decide that you would like to exercise at home, the Cardio
Twister would be a good piece of equipment for you. It consists of
a step which moves from side to side in a lateral or skating
motion, and a set of handlebars which twist of their own accord as
you pedal.

I think the T-Bow Exercise System is the single best piece of home
exercise equipment I’ve ever bought. I’m a Personal Trainer and
believe me I’ve tried dozens of pieces of equipment, some cheap and
some expensive.

For exercising at home,I would say that your best bet with limited

One answer is to exercise at home. Comfort, privacy and no monthly
fees - apart from the mortgage, which you'd have to pay anyway. And
if you go for a compact exerciser like The Firm Wave, you don't
need to turn a whole room into a gym, as a small space will be
perfect, and the Wave can be stored away when you've finished.

The WAVE can be used in a small space and put away in a closet when
not in use, making it the ideal piece of equipment for a small
spare room or apartment. Cost-wise, the WAVE represents great value
for money and comes complete with several DVDs and a useful wall
chart.

The Firm claim that you will see visible results in 10 workouts by
using their new Firm Body Transfirmation System. Is this hype or is
it really possible?

If you are active and play sports regularly, you can sustain a
rotator cuff injury. Tennis, golf and basketball players are
particularly susceptible to this type of injury as they rely
heavily on the shoulder muscles - imagine the muscle power needed
to serve a tennis ball at the incredible speeds recorded at top
level competition!

Shin splints are just a name for a muscle inflammation over the
shin. The muscle involved is called Tibialis Anterior and runs down
the front of your lower leg from knee to ankle. If this long, thin
muscle is overused, it gets strained and swells up - hence the pain
and the impulse to rub your shin.

There are several reasons why you may get leg pain - lower leg pain
in particular may be caused by shin splints. If you feel down the
front of your lower leg, you will feel the edges of a bone close to
the surface - it's like you have a school ruler in your leg.

In my job as a Sports Therapist, I see a lot of people who do a lot
of running; shin pain is one of their major complaints and running
shin splints can cause them considerable discomfort and trouble. At
this point, I explain, that if they ignore my advice, they'll be
fit for nothing.
