Features:
The DSi's Two Digital Cameras
The most noticeable feature of the slim Nintendo DSi system are its two cameras - one camera is situated on the external body pointing away from the user, and the second one points at the user when the device is flipped open. As the first truly interactive digital camera in a video game system, the DSi Cameras feature 10 different interactive "lenses" that can manipulate your photos, offering an easy way to take and share your photos with family and friends. The cameras also present people with unprecedented ways to interact with their games, and in the process provide developers with a new tool to devise creative games and experiences. If the touch screen gave Nintendo DS a sense of feel and the microphone allowed it to hear, the two cameras give Nintendo DSi the sense of sight.
DSi Sound
Another enhanced feature is the Nintendo DSi Sound application, which serves as both an interactive voice recorder and music player that allows users to play with their music while they listen to it. Users can access different audio filters or control the pitch and speed of recorded voice or music files to alter voices or change the tempo of a song. The mic is located between the two screens when the device is flipped open, and there is also a stereo headphone output that lets users listen to music saved on an SD card, even with the screen shut.
The DSiWare
In the world of software, Nintendo DSi will be the platform for the most relevant and fun on-the-go games and applications. The Nintendo DSiWare application will populate Nintendo DSi with software that can be downloaded using Nintendo DSi Points directly to the portable system, just as WiiWare has with Nintendo's Wii console. Developers big and small are invited to create software that makes use of the properties and functions of the hardware. Nintendo DSiWare games and applications will be available at a range of values, starting at 200 points.
Games and Backwards Compatibility
In addition to downloadable games, Nintendo DSi is able to play games made specifically for the system and sold at retail. The system can also play most Nintendo DS games, and will have access to a library of more than 850 titles originally made for that system. As an example of the quality of games that DSi players can expect to see both from both Nintendo and third-party game developers, at the launch of the DSi Nintendo is also releasing Rhythm Heaven. A wildly popular rhythm game in Japan, where it has sold nearly 2 million copies since its release in mid 2008, Rhythm Heaven features catchy tunes, charming characters, and a wide variety of rhythm games as it makes maximum use of the DSi's functionality.
What's in the Box
Each DSi comes complete with: one Nintendo DSi System, one Nintendo DSi stylus, one Nintendo DSi AC power adapter, an easy start guide, manuals (basic and controls) and a support booklet.

Excellent! (2009-07-04)
Nintendo DSi is a great system for casual and hardcore gamers alike. I spent a couple hours today just playing with the cameras and microphone! A must have for anybody looking for a fun experience. 5/5
My daugher loves the DSi (2009-07-04)
I bought this for my 12 year old daughter and she love it.
Pros: Shop, Camera, lots of fun, listen to your music, 1000 DSi points, SD Card slot.
Cons: No Flash Player, No GBA slot, kind of Pricey.
My daughter likes to record her voice and listen to her music. She like to take pictures. She likes the browser. But the problem is it has no Flash Player and no GBA slot but its a lot of fun. The color blue is cool. She plays lots of Mario games. This system is the best.
Great Upgrade from DS/DS Lite - Must Buy! (2009-07-03)
Nintendo DSi is a great gaming/social device for anyone.
Gaming :
Not much has changed here. The added DSi Shop is great for little games that you can download quickly for $8 at the most. I love the card swap feature.
Photos/Music :
The camera takes better picture than I thought it would as long as you are outside in the daylight or if your inside you must turn on some sort of light. Sound is good, but I get slightly better sound from my iPod.
Other :
The fact that this new DS can be upgraded is a big plus. Nintendo has already announced a summer update to add Facebook features to the photo app.
Pleased with it. (2009-07-02)
I got my DSi when I traded in my DSlite. So, considering that I paid well under $100, I am very happy with it. I like the built in sound and photo manipulators. The kids and I have had a blast with them. The larger screen doesn't make a huge difference but it does look really nice. I was really sold by the downloadable content, browser(though not used much), cameras and the sd slot. Awesome features. I also like the improved volume control as it was very hard to fine tune the volume on my DS lite. I think its a real shame that they didn't include a GBA slot on this one, though it clearly wasn't a deal breaker. The only other negative is that I'm not crazy about the matte finish. That's simply a matter of taste, however. If they had left the GBA slot intact I would have given the DSi the fifth star.
Five stars, fantastic product! (2009-07-02)
I recently upgraded from my Ds Lite to the Matte Black Dsi. What can I say? It's amazing.
-The screens are bigger they are now 3.25 inches instead of 3.00
I know it doesn't seem like a big difference, but you can really tell when you turn it on.
-brighter screens (this is nice, but I never use it that high on the setting)
-The cameras are so fun!
This is probably the best feature. Some people say the graphics are bad and it's not for seeing anywhere else but on the dsi screen. This isn't true, I viewed one of my pics on the comp. screen, it looked great!
11 lenses for distortion, graffiti, mirroring, face merging... it's so much fun!!
-better speakers
They are so much better. Louder.
- no snap when it opens
This is just a small detail, but when you open it, it doesn't click like the ds lite, so it doesn't give you the appearance you just broke your system by opening it.
-The black matte refuses to scratch
I have this crystal hardcover case that really fits tightly. you can hear your system squeak when you put it in. take it out, rub it a little, no marks! that is a feature for certain
-ability to use SD cards
This is great too. You get to transfer your pics to the computer so you never run out. Music files aren't actually MP3s, they're ACC files so you have to get a free download from iTunes to convert your music, but it's so worth it! there's an instrumental feature so you can play your music without the vocals. Like in Karaoke!!
The matte black is great, while the matte blue is part of a new line that they're calling 'nintendo blue'. That's what they told me at the store. :)
There are so many features I can't cover them all! (oh i forgot, the buttons are nice. They click when you press them. they feel so crisp now!)
So, sorry for carrying on, but I give this an A++, if you have been considering the Dsi, buy it!

Pretty Fun (2009-06-05)
This was a pretty fun game.
It's a little stressful at times because sometimes you're working against the clock and you have to do these motions in order.
I really like how it's super easy at first, so it lets you build up skills than it goes fast. Usually these types of games just throw you in the water.
Like the Wii version (2009-03-16)
I purchased this game after playing the Wii version at a friend's house. I like the Wii much better b/c you can play with a friend, but this one is great for single player fun. The story line is way too long and drawn out, but the operations are fun and challenging.
"Stylus Trauma" (2009-03-07)
Trauma Center, this game is not for the faint of heart. During the beginning of the game you are literally operating on a patient. As the storyline continues the operations become harder. The storyline is very interesting and the levels of difficulty can make the game even harder. Be prepared to operate to save lives!
Pro's:
-Dramatic/interesting storyline.
-Sound effects of footsteps, gunshots, ambulance and character's reactions make this game more fun to read.
-fast-forward through text
-Can go back to any previous level and go straight to the operation.
-Lengthy amount of episodes keeps this game from being too "short"
-Use your stylus and your agility to keep under the clock!
-Viruses play like Atari
-Zap, stitch, drain, disinfect your way to victory.
Con's
- Screen can be very sensitive to stylus input, especially when opening a patient. A line can be drawn exactly on the printed line and still count as being "off".
-If you don't work quickly enough the game is prone to overload itself with "GUILT" infections. Game over!
-If you loose one level you cannot advance until that level is completed.
-Levels can be unforgiving and become frustrating.
This game is fast-paced action. You must keep on your toes in order to succeed to the next level. The storyline is as dramatic as the surgeries. Recommend for anyone who wants to play a more "synthetic" surgery game but with action!
Great fun if you like surgery and long storylines (2009-01-29)
I bought this game around a month ago and I have to say that it's one of the best game related purchases I've ever made. My only problem with this game is that it has such a long build up before each surgery that you're almost asleep before the action even starts. The gameplay rocks but as you probably are guessing this game is in no way an accurate simulation of real surgery by any means. So, if you love to cut people open but don't have an M.D. and you don't mind boring buildup the this is most definitely the game for you.
Magical surgery and Anime sexism (2009-01-19)
An odd mix of surgery, anime-style drama (lots of it, and it drags on) and odd magical interventions. Some surgeries require timely drawing of a pentagram on the surgical site for success - not sure which satan-worshiper (just kidding) decided that this is how surgery works, but it is a long way from reality. Another odd and disconcerting part is the relentless sexism and fawning big-eyed and big-breasted females - not sure what they are trying to teach here, but it is not surgery. Very odd that the nurses always know what needs to be done, yet are constantly fawning and deferential - maybe that is a Japanese/anime culture thing. Mixed in with the extended slow dialogue, it got very irritating.
Throw in the magical surgery, the bizarre idea that surgeons would somehow be fighting infectious diseases, and the quirky uses of antibiotics and special serum, and it does not work overall. Maybe if you really like anime style drama. Just not for me.

Best game on the DS? (2009-06-19)
Mario Kart DS is pretty much the best DS game in the series, in terms of gameplay, content, graphics, and fun.
If you've played any past Mario Kart games, then you kind of know what to expect, but this game brings in all the glory of the older titles, and puts a whole new shine on it, as well as adding great new features.
There's tons of tracks, tons of karts to choose and unlock. We're talking hours and hours and hours of racing and unlocking.
There's also new weapons, like being able to turn into a Bullet Bill and shoot down the track knocking your foes right out of the way. There's also a squid power this time around that shoots black ink on your foes screen, blocking out their version for a short period of time.
All the old classic moves are back as well, like banana skins, red and green shells, etc etc. Great fun!
For the first time ever in a Mario Kart game, now you can go ONLINE and compete against players from all over the world with a wifi connection, OR get this...if you have the game, but your friends dont, up to 8 people locally can play the game using only ONE game pack!
Bottom line, if you're new to Mario Kart, or a veteran of the series, there's simply SOO much to love about this beautiful and amazingly fun game.
10/10
Mario Kart DS (2009-06-09)
My son is loving this game. It's become his favorite and seems to have many different choices from characters to courses which make for great neverending fun.
nice game (2009-06-07)
It is a fun game, but the shipping was bad. It took a long time, but eventually it came. It is fun to play.
Perfect! (2009-05-24)
I got this game for my nephew and I guess he likes it a lot!. Thankyou for the fast service, it was great!
Fun Excitment (2009-05-16)
This game is fun and exciting but like all portable mario kart games it is just fun for playing on the go. I have most of the mario karts but played all. It is really fun at first but as soon as u beat it or got as far as u can it is not as fun. The graphics r good for the karts but the background is blocky. It has a more fun multiplayer then the GB version but the other players r the same cherecter each time and they do not get to choose. Overall this game is great for travel all the time and has pretty good graphics. It can be very hard to unlock the extra cherecters and karts and there is no cheats.

The Best (2009-06-21)
Out of all the games made so far for Pokemon, I find this one by far the best. Sure it's not classic like the first ones that came out, but I'm not all for the classic anyway~!
This game is definitely better also because of the extra things that happen out of the routine from the other games (I haven't played Diamond or Pearl, so I don't mean them) and well, it's a great way to pass time.
The only downside I really see to this is that...Giratina of all pokemon, especially being a cover pokemon, is waayyyy too weak at a lvl. 47 upon capture. It's just rather shocking how weak it is. But I guess that's beyond the point.
Also, as other have already said, this IS a remake of Diamond and Pearl...that should be known already.
Good Game (2009-06-20)
The game is as good and entertaining as it was when i played it a few years back.
Game was good, once I finally got it. (2009-06-14)
The first time this game arrived at my door, after a long wait, there was no disc in the case. Once the game came, it was awesome. I've been playing for nearly 60 hours.
The ultimate Pokemon DS game (2009-06-12)
While it appears to much more difficult than Pearl, it is quickly and easily learned. Very complete program. I recommend getting the 624-page Pokemon Platinum compendium (from amazon for about $13) which catalogues all the pokemon and contains hints and clues about how to find and catch them.
Platinum Differences (2009-06-10)
-New Characters: International Policeman Looker and Galactic Commander Charon
-New and Improved Graphics: Some locations have new graphics(i.e. Twinleaf Town has snow, Stark Mountain has lava). Some areas are different in other ways as well.
-Improved Story Line: Rather than revolving around Dialga/Palkia, the plot centers around Giratina
-Sinnoh Pokedex includes more Pokemon
-Wi-Fi Plaza: Allows users to play minigames with players around the world
-Distortion World: A world in which time and Space are bent. Giratina lives in this world.
-Elite Four becomes stronger after each run-through
-Ability to catch Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos after obtaining the National Pokedex
-Battle Zone includes Battle Frontier, which has five different battling facilities as opposed to Diamond/Pearl's one.
-Ability to re-battle Riley, Leader Wake, Leader Candice, and Leader Volkner
