I don't know why but I purchased this game out of impulse. Im 26 years old and believe me for a kids game its pretty darn good. Easy to play and lots of animals to catch/raise and lots of fruit/vegetables and flowers to grow. It will keep you on your seat for at least a few hours.
If you like RPG games or "build games" then this would be a good addition to your collection. Get more detail about

AC/DC Live: Track Pack has all the rock-edge you've wanted to play in a music game. The songs are fun to play, with accurate-enough charts and tunes that even if you didn't think you knew--most of which--you'll realize you've heard on your local rock station a dozen times before (which by no means is a bad thing). Obviously this will cater the most to fans of the band, and really, if you don't at least moderately like AC/DC I have no idea why you'd pick this up.
All of the songs are currently--and possibly *forever*--exclusive to this disc, so don't expect to find them in the DLC updates. According to an article I read online, AC/DC refuses to put out individual tracks (either in music games like Rock Band or Guitar Hero, nor individual mp3s found in services like iTunes) because they consider themselves a 'full-album band'... which is an unusual attitude to have, but I get it, I guess.
The only qualm I really have with this Track Pack is that, since it uses the Rock Band 1 system, you need to play through a Career-style menu in order to unlock each song. (Eg. You start off with Song 1 and can't advance until you beat it, which then unlocks Song 2 to play.. then Song 3.. and Song 4, etc.) Although, once you've completed all of the songs, they're yours to play in Quickplay, but don't expect to be able to create your own tracklist once you have unlocked them all--you'll need the Rock Band 2 functions for such things.
Luckily, the game comes with a one-time use transfer code--as mentioned in the description--to let you download the entire set as one giant file to your 360's harddrive for use with either Rock Band game in the series (and supposedly future Rock Band games as well, but we'll see about that), keep in mind that you'll need to connect to Xbox Live Marketplace to use the transfer code however.Get more detail about

I was warned that this game was going to be hard but of all the racing games out there this one had the best graphics I have ever seen. I could not resist. I started playing the game and it wasn't too hard. I have never been very good at these types of games but I found myself starting to master the different driving mechanics. Very soon I couldn't lose a race but that all changed when I started unlocking new licenses. Suddenly every opportunity the computer had to cheap shot me they would take advantage of it. I didn't seem to matter how big a lead I had on them for some reason on the last lap they would suddenly catch me despite the fact I was perfect the entire race. Yet if the role was reversed I couldn't do the same thing to them. The game is very unbalanced when it comes to fair racing.
I hate that I can only race cars in certain race types. When I buy racing games it is all about racing my favorite cars in my best race type which is circuit racing. But some cars I can only use them in drift races and I could never get the mechanics down for that. I also don't like how easy it is to damage my car. It seems all I have to do is tap a wall and my door is flying off. Because in every race they put me near the back, I have to try to pass thirteen cars on a narrow track and it is impossible for me to finish first without seriously damaging my car. Even worst the computer is always crashing into me on those difficult turns so I'm constantly restarting the race. After awhile it gets to be very frustrating and annoying. They game doesn't give you the option to adjust the difficulty level so that the races don't become too overwhelming. I'm left with only two choices with this game. Get better at these races or get rid of the game. I chose the latter

I just picked this game up and after reading all the conflicting reviews i was pleasantly suprised with what i have experienced in it so far.
Pro's:
Great Sandbox style game
You can pick it up and play it for 10 min or 10 hours
plenty side missons to do.
lots of things to detroy. ie. i was on a mission to liberate a city from the VZ troops and after all was said and done about 3/4 of the city and been reduced to rubble.
Tons of vehicles. Especially those pesky Helicopter's.
NPC's are pretty funny and the "wager's" are fun if not a little easy.
Fairly family friendly. Some people view this as a bad thing but as a father of two i appreciate a game i can play when the kids are in the room. Fairly light on language and from what i have seen there is no blood.
Con's:
Don't like how no matter what your affiliation with a faction is if you approach a HVT (high value target) you are immediately fired upon.
Vehicle Hijacking game is more annoying than challenging.
Could use a difficulty setting (I haven't found one yet.)
Overall if you want a super in depth gaming experience this isn't for you. If you are looking for a game you can go wreak endless havoc in this is certainly the game to do it in.

This is a review of the Amazon.com exclusive Slimer Edition, not the game itself.
First of all, I was a little disappointed with the packaging. There is no special packaging to speak of. Instead, everything arrives in a plain, unmarked box. You would never know what was in it, if it weren't for the shipping label on the side. It looks like this is the exact box in which the set was shipped from the manufacturer to Amazon. Inside, there is an unmarked white box with the Slimer statue in it, the keychain, the puffy sticker sheet, and the game. It is just a normal copy of the game, sealed, with no special packaging. Check out the customer images, as I'll be putting up pics of the set. I see that Amazon is now offering a digital download of the Amazon.com Exclusive Slimer Edition Box Art. I didn't originally get this, but I e-mailed Amazon and they gave me a link to download it. It is just a PDF of special Amazon.com cover art, which you can print and slip into your game case, to make the game seem like a "special" edition. Now, on to the items.
Exclusive Ghostbusters Gamer Graffix Skins: Well, I'm not sure what makes these "skins". They are just a set of "puffy" stickers. You know, those stickers that are slightly raised and feel "puffy." When viewing Amazon's pictures, the picture that shows the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, Slimer, and the logo on a black background, is the sticker set. Each one of the images is a separate sticker.
Ecto1 Key Chain: This is sort of neat, but as stated by other reviewers, it DOES NOT light up. It just makes a noise. I was hoping it would play the theme song, or something, but instead it just makes the car's siren noise. So, the car itself is nice looking, but the noise is nothing special.
Slimer Bust: This makes the set, I'd say. The statue doesn't look all that great in the pictures, but it's actually nice in person. It is a pretty good size, with a nice, heavy base. All that holds the Slimer statue in place is a short pin, so the base needs to be pretty heavy to make sure it doesn't tip over. The statue is nicely detailed and would make for a good display item. According to the Certificate of Authenticity, only 6500 of these were made, though neither the statue nor the certificate are numbered. The statue includes a brochure for the makers of the statue, with a link to their website (search for their company, Solid Thought Corporation). You can check out their site and see whatever else they might be working on. It looks like they even designed a special box for the Slimer statue (you can find images of it in their blog), but for some reason it wasn't used. Too bad, since it looks nice.
I would say that the set is not worth the full $90. While the extras are nice, they're not THAT nice. If you can get it a bit cheaper, though, it's definitely worth it. I got it for $50 on sale. The extras are definitely better than those you get with other games (the Slimer statue is pretty cool), but they're also asking for a premium price.Get more detail about

HeadLine Fact:
90-95% of the population does not know what is good and what is bad, indeed fitting us into the saying "pearl to a swine". Most of us are content with stuff that is unoriginal, people don't see the higher possibility, but only see what's in front of them. That is why the world is blind and that is why creativity has died. The proof is in the constant remakes and reuse of old movies, games, etc. We continuously fall into that hole of mediocreness. Be different, demand better! This is a message brought to you by me, nonrelated to this game.
GAME REVIEW
I've been playing this game for about a week or so. I have played Gran Turismo 2 and 3 before and started Forza for the first time. This is an opinionated review about how I feel about this game.
This game is well made, the graphics is nice and all, however my experience with this game has not been very pleasant. It's not that there's anything wrong with the disc or my system. I was expecting to enjoy this game a lot, however, I found it to be one of the most unpleasant, stressful, anger inducing game ever. I like racing simulation games, but either this game is too real or not real enough, I have found the gameplay to be ridiculously frustrating.
I'll elaborate and also add some flaws:
1. Saving. This thing has autosave, once you buy a car or buy certain upgrades, you're stuck with it if you let the autosave kick in. You cannot buy a car and upgrade it and test it out and see if it's good first and if it's not reset your game and try another car. Once you buy the car, you're stuck with it and the consequences of buying it.
2. Tuning is just crazy in this game, but I've seen it in GT and such, but you have to be quite knowledgable in tuning to get it right. A lot of time is wasted, imo, in just sitting around and tuning it. Tuning is hard because sometimes you can't tell the difference or it's simply because you're driving bad in one race and good the next. I find it hard, it's probably just me.
3. I spent 3 hours or so trying to beat the first track, partially because I didn't know about the tuning option because I was new at the time. However, after tuning I would expect that turning would be a lot easier. However, this was not the case. If a fully upgraded car has problems turning a U or L shaped turn at 50-70 mph, then you got issues. I find myself continuously spinning out of control, tuning doesn't seem to do too much. I suppose this is a personal thing hence this is a personal review. It just might happen to you too. Also, you got to watch out for ur opponents accidently nugging you. One nug means losing control, smashing into the wall, and ruining your race. Resetting is a continuously option you must choose if you play this game.
4. Again with the autosaving issue. Many of the races require a specific class of car, a specific weight requirement, model type, HP limit, etc. That requires you to buy cars and upgrades. However, cars can be expensive and the upgrades maybe even more. I fully upgrade one of my cars (sometimes u should and sometimes you shouldn't fully upgrade base on race requirements) and it costs me about 30-40K give or take. Now, autosave is the issue because you can't actually buy a car, test it out in the race you want, and choose whether to keep it or not. Once you buy a car, you are stuck with it even if you hate it. You can't change your mind. Autosave just makes the game worse, I dislike it very much.
5. You can't sell the cars that you won. So far from what I see it's cars that you win in a tourney or when you reach a certain level (every 5 lvls u get a car). Your max resell is 100cr, which is worthless. So winning cars many times won't help you unless maybe if you plan to use them.
6. Funky physics. What do I mean? When you hit the side wall in a parallel direction, physics would probably have it that the car just slides against the wall instead of bouncing me perpendicular off it. I'm talking about the non-cement type walls. It's like I'm hitting a spring and even springs shouldn't do that. It's like you rub your hand against your table and instead of it going across the table surface, your hand gets bounced upwards away from the table.......
In conclusion
This game is either a love it or really really hate it kind of game. If you know exactly how to tune then you can get the most out of ur drive or else you'll end up like me. There are many people that have succeed without knowing much about tuning, but it is frustrating imo.
I have progressed so little in this game, I have played it and now I no longer want to touch it for at least a few more months. Whether you find this review useful or not is up to you. It doesn't matter to me, it's just my opinion. I also got this game for [...] total.Get more detail about
Forza Motorsport 2.Date Published: Oct 16, 2009 - 7:13 am

I played half of this game (up to chapter 4), hoping that it would get better, as some other reviewers suggested. Then I gave up. Here is why,
First of all,a good story is a key element in RPGs. In Eternal Sonata, the story seems creative at first but it progresses very slowly. There are lots of cutscenes that don't go anywhere. At least half of the cutscenes from the first 10-12 hours (the parts I played) seemed redundant. They did not further the story or help giving the characters more depth, just idle talk. I didn't find them funny or interesting either, so the game got boring.
Second, the game is shallow in terms of character customization and battle mechanics. The combat is fun and interesting initially, but then you realize that all you are doing is to build up a multiplier by mashing one button and then do a special move with another button. Also, depending on whether your character is standing under light or shadow, your special move changes. That's about it. I don't see how this is innovative or strategic.
Third, character customization is also minimal. Your characters level up and their stats improve automatically as in most JRPGs. There is no skill point allocation or control over stats. You also learn different special moves as you level up, however again you have no control over what your characters learn. You just pick two special moves to use in combat for each character. That's all you'll get for character customization.
Last, the game has very tedious puzzle/maze sections. You pull a lever, backtrack several screens, pull another level etc. Because these sections also happen in large areas, it is more about trying to figure out where things are rather than solving the puzzle. You know what to do next, but you don't remember where it was, which gets frustrating.
On the other hand, the game has very nice visuals. The sections about Chopin's life at the end of each chapter are great, and it has multiplayer. However, these don't make Eternal Sonata a good RPG. It is just an ok game. If you are interested, try Tales of Vesperia instead, which is a far better game.

Great cheap alternative to the 360 controller if you use the XBCD drivers and an adapter. (2008-09-29)
I used this for all my PC gaming needs due to the fact that it has two extra buttons at the bottom and I find it unfitting to use a 360 controller and I don't have the console for it which I will not be getting for a some years now. All I did was get a generic Xbox to PC usb adaper, installed the XBCD drivers, and it works on all games that support it. For 100% compatibility, I use Xpadder for games that have poor or no support for controllers. Good example is Half-Life 2. I personally just can't stand the keyboard and mouse, and I can never get used to it, and its not easy for me to remember what key is assign to what command and such. Anyway I just can't live without this.
Xbox controller (2008-04-22)
Package came quickly and in good working order. Son was thrilled to receive the controller.
Good controller (2008-04-07)
This works great with the xbox, my son wouldn't be able to play without it.
XBox controller - standard (2008-03-05)
These controllers for the Xbox are to bulky for me. It doesn't fit snugglely in the palms of your hands like a PS2 or PS3 controller.
Plain and Simple: Best Controller for the Xbox System (2008-01-17)
Best Controller for the Xbox system. As for my personal preference, I feel the green controller is the best color, but the blue and black controllers are just the same.

Voted Game Of The Year by IGN.com, Electonic Gaming Monthly, and Xbox Magazine.
Amazon.com ReviewMore often than not, when a game is in development for more than three years, it does not live up to the hype. Bungie's
Halo is the exception. Not only does it meet expectations, it greatly exceeds them. This sci-fi first-person shooter is a nearly perfect blend of gameplay, graphics, and sound.
The story revolves around the conflict between humans and an alien race known as the Covenant. The aliens have discovered a powerful artifact--on the ring-shaped planet called Halo--that will shift the balance of power, and it's up to the player to stop them. In addition to several first-person-shooter levels, the game offers numerous opportunities to engage in vehicular combat. Both the enemy and allied artificial intelligence are extremely impressive. Enemies will use the terrain and layout to put you in tight spots. Allies will know when to cover and aid you. For instance, if you hop into a jeep, an ally will know to jump in and man the turret on the back of it.
The graphics are exquisitely detailed, but only move at 30 frames per second rather than 60. The sound effects and voice acting are superb. The level design is among the best ever; most of the game is engaging and challenging without being frustrating. There's also high replay value thanks to the built-in single-player, cooperative, and deathmatch modes.
Much like the outstanding GoldenEye 007 for Nintendo 64, Halo raises the bar for console first-person shooters. All console action games will be measured against Halo for years to come. --Raymond M. Padilla
Pros:
Outstanding game design High replay value Impressive AI
Cons: Several maps are used multiple times Save functions could have been better implemented Graphics move at 30 frames per second, not 60
Amazon.com Product DescriptionThis action shooter takes place on a mysterious alien world. It offers a combination of team-based first-person-shooter gameplay (reminiscent of
Tribes) and third-person vehicle combat elements. Gameplay kicks off with the player heading down to the planet's surface in a troop carrier, Ã la
Aliens. As the player and fellow marines exit, the remaining troopers form a flank in reaction to an oncoming onslaught of human and alien enemies.
It's this smart AI system that makes for a noticeably unique gameplay feel. Another very nice feature is the seamless transition into vehicular elements. As you venture through mission objectives, a variety of enemy flyers and on-ground buggies are yours for the taking. Come across a vehicle and the camera will pull back to a third-person view as you strap in and motor through crossfire. A co-op mode allows a friend to join you in the single-player missions. For chaotic fighting action, up to four players can duel in split-screen deathmatch mode or link systems for LAN play. However you choose to hero your way through Halo: Combat Evolved, the action should break in your new Xbox in explosive style.

Great game even now (2009-06-18)
A solid game to go back and play even today, I recommend playing the halo games in order if you are new to xbox.
A True Classic (2009-05-05)
One of the best games of all time. Man, I wasted so many hours in college playing this game. Good times. Cavie/Clap for life!
The Covenant is near! (2009-04-28)
My friend had Halo 1, 2 and 3. The first time he came out, he brought Halo 3. Man! I was wasting sniper bullets and kept being killed like crazy. I thought the game was `ok'. Then later on he brought out Halo 1 and 2. THEN!!! I christened my aim and ability to live. Number one is stunning! The graphics dominate even Stars Wars' Battlefront! The details on the humans, aliens, vehicles and terrain are great.
The aliens, known as the Covenant, are not the cartoony ones on TV or other games, these guys are great! The aliens shoot insults at you, "Coward!", "He's scared!", "Your skills are lacking!" and others to irritate and bring out the soldier in you.
The tanks and other vehicles are well detailed and are powerful.
Fight in outer space in either your or enemy spaceships or on the ground against the aliens that want to kill all humans.
I did feel, however, that the language (swearing that is) can be a little `ripe', and the blood can be a little unsuitable for younger players (that`s why it`s rated M). But other than that the game is without a doubt great!
THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!! (2009-04-22)
At first I had no desire to play Halo, because it was an FPS, and when I started playing video-games I was terrible at them, I preferred anthing but FPS, but after I started playing the game for the first few seconds, I couldn't live without it! It is the Star Wars of the video-game industry. Why are you guys giving it such bad reviews?! It IS the game of all games!
What's the hype? (2009-04-20)
I'm sorry you people really need to get over yourselves. Halo is a decent shooter, but many of the mechanics are horrendously flawed. Yes, they were fixed in 2 and 3, but other shooters got it right the first time. If you want a shooter that is good at what is does, try Call of Duty 4, Resistance or Resistance 2, or even Call of Duty World at War, not this piece of junk.

Features:
- Enables DVD movie playback functionality on the Xbox
- Includes remote control
- Infrared receiver plugs into Xbox controller port
- Makes your Xbox a complete entertainment system
- Required for DVD functionality on the Xbox
Product DescriptionThe DVD Movie Playback Kit is a quick way to expand the functionality of the best gaming machine around! Xbox requires this kit to enable DVD movie playback. Simply plug in the infrared receiver to a controllerport and use the remote control designed for DVD movie playback. No messy cables or confusing game controllers to deal with!
Amazon.com ReviewGot an Xbox? Do you enjoy watching DVDs? Then you need one of these. This DVD playback kit unlocks the DVD functionality of Microsoft's powerful Xbox and helps make the console an even more important addition to your home entertainment deck.
Feeling rather light in hand, this remote features large keys that feel rubbery yet firm. The kit sports some of the basic functions you'd expect from a common controller, including chapter skip, play, pause, and number buttons. There's also handy 32x fast-forward and reverse controls.
Pressing the display button calls up a friendly onscreen menu that allows access to more features, including up to 10x magnification, A-B playback loop (for cueing and viewing favorite scenes repeatedly), and subtitle and audio options. It's worth noting that many lower-cost DVD remotes have access to such features through the press of a button. The fact that this one requires you to use a menu to access such common commands may rankle DVD aficionados, as the menu is a bit slower than using buttons. Still, the menu is quite intuitive and couldn't be much easier to use.
For the remote to work, you'll need to plug the included infrared receiver into an open controller port on the Xbox. Most gamers will never need to unplug the receiver again, as you can plug it into the rarely used fourth port. Interestingly, the receiver works best when the remote is operated almost directly in front of it, and can be a little finicky when signals are sent from the far left or right.
The couch potato crowd won't be thrilled to learn that the remote does not include power or eject buttons. Why such standard features were omitted escapes us, but that is far and away the worst thing we can say about an otherwise decent control. --Mark Brooks
Pros:
Though very lightweight, the controller seems sturdily made and the buttons are large and comfy Uses any of the 4 Xbox game controller ports; rarely gets in the way Gives the Xbox cool DVD playback features Onscreen menu is very easy to use
Cons: No power or eject buttons A-B looping, subtitles, and language selects--as well as other features--are only accessible via onscreen menus Cannot use the remote from far to the left or right of the sensor

An excellent remote for XBMC (2009-04-24)
This remote works very well, and makes the XBMC experience even nicer. I recommend this to anyone using XBMC.
great remote (2009-04-14)

Excellent Controller (2009-03-03)
Works as advertised. Perfect to give your Xbox or XBMC the ability to use a remote. I just plugged in the IR Receiver and used my Scientific Atlanta (through Brighthouse) universal remote to control all the basic functions. The remote with this kit works fine if you decide to use it.
RIP OFF!!!! (2009-02-26)
I bought this because I don't have a DVD in the living room and I have 2 regular xboxes, so I wanted to have a DVD there as well. The cost on here is 0.01, yet the shipping is $9.99??? THIS IS A RIP OFF!!! This item doesn't have a weight more than 6 ounces and it's not packaged like it's shown. I think it's REDICULOUS how these people try and jip you off, when u can go to GAMESTOP and buy the Playback Kit for $2.99. I won't do that again on here, TRUST ME!!!!!!
Very convenient (2009-02-21)
It enhances the XBMC experience! I would recommend it to anyone looking to set up a media center using the original XBOX. Definitely good buy!
