I have worked in IT security for nearly 20 years and have seen how 'experts' deal with security. I don't trust anyone with my information or details.
As such I write under the awful but recognisable corruption of the magnificent cipher developed by Joan Daemen and Vincent Rijmen.
The internet is an information gold mine - just make your personal details aren't included. Our governments, identity thieves and all sorts of people with different agenda are watching us make sure you stay low key online !
One way to protect your self online when surfing the internet is by
using a secure proxy server. But just picking any proxy to use is
not advisable, as you might pick one that is not secure and instead
of your surfing being anonymous your information might just be
being sent somewhere else, which can make this a bad situation for
you.

Anonymous proxy surfing has become increasingly popular as people
using the internet on a daily basis become more and more aware of
just how insecure their private information is. While it might
sound as if being a computer specialist to safeguard your private
information for free online sounds like the truth, in reality it's
something that anyone can do.

It's true using a secure proxy server is one of the biggest steps
you can take in securing your details online and protecting
yourself from the growing scourge of identity theft. Unfortunately
proxy servers are also used by identity thieves to steal
information.

You hear lots of talk about online privacy, identity theft and
information online. Is it really an issue?

It's not paranoia, I know people are watching me. Unfortunately the
more people conduct more aspects of their lives online - the more
they'll need to think about security.

It can be quite confusing looking at the various types of internet

software programs on the market - the problem is that they all
offer slightly different features. Before you should choose which

If you have to share a computer either at home, work or school then
you'll soon realise that you leave a trace of your web history on
the computer each time you use it - it's not exactly secure web
browsing. This can be quite annoying at times, if you're trying to
arrange a surprise, buy a gift then leaving a trail of web sites
behind you can slightly give the surprise away.

If you have ever shared a log on or computer for your web browsing
you'll know how annoying it can be not to have secure web surfing.
Organise a surprise party or weekend away and then a list of hotels
appears in your partners browser next time she logs on. It's almost
like you share a common surfing history in the house.

One of the problems with secure browsing is always the browser you
are using. If you share a computer with your family you're probably
used to seeing everyone's browser history, lists of files. If you
visit them you'll get the same view, cookies and histories all
being shared.

If you feel like you're being watched, well it's because you
probably are, if you want some form of secure web browsing you are
not alone. If you want to learn the truth of secure web browsing
prepare to learn.

Secure surfing should be a consideration for everyone nowadays. We
are increasingly using the internet for many parts of our lives and
to transport this data - we use a protocol that has no security at
all - HTTP.

Any semblance of privacy we used to have on the internet is long
gone, anonymous proxy surfing is becoming more common as people
realise just how much of their personal data exists online. Do you
have to be a technical wizard to protect your privacy online, well
if you want to do it for free it definitely helps?

There are so many reasons nowadays to make sure you surf securely.
Identity thieves and hacking groups work full time stealing
people's data and then their identities.

An anonymous proxy just sounds so safe and secure, I'll be
completely anonymous using it and safe from censors, snoopers,
hackers and identity thieves. Unfortunately that is not quite the
case, it's just a little deceptive and things are not quite what
they seem.
