Is Vagistat-1 A Good
Yeast
Infection Medication?Ive been reading all the
Reviews online for these cream medications and 95%
of them are all bad. So I went to Walgreen's and got vagistat-1 and
im trying it now but ive been having to go to the bathroom and i
think the cream came out while i was using the bathroom. Is it
suppose to discharge or will it decompose in my body? Also, I don't
have medical insurance and Ive taken Diflucan before but I don't
know how to get a prescription for it. Is there any other way I can
get a OTC pill for a
Yeast infection? Also, I have
medication for a UTI, will that help the infection? Im asking
because some ppl are saying eating yogurt and drinking cranberry
juice helps the yeast. However, its he same thing my dr told me to
eat since i have a UTI.

Cures For
Yeast Infection...?This is my second
Yeast infection. My first one was last month. :l
Well instead of going to the doctors this time, I wanted to try an
over the counter product or just another way such as a home remedy.
Any recommendations or something? I've heard of Monistat where you
stick something up every night for a couple nights...but I read
Reviews online and a lot of people said they've
had severe side effects the first night. ;_; Any help with this
please? I really hope Monistat will work well! I was on this review
page where older woman who's tested it said that there was sever
itching and burning the first couple days, and some even had
swelling and had to discontinue its' use. Here's the link:

Yeast Infections Related To Your Hormonal Cycle?I track my health
regularly, and with graphing tools I was able to see some
correlation between my monthly hormone cycle and
Yeast infections that keep popping up and going
away on their own. I definitely have a hormonal imbalance that has
caused a slew of other health problems. I wanted to see if there
was anyone else out there noticing similar results? I recently
joined a curetogether team: http://www.curetogether.com where we
can all share treatments and
Reviews of things
we're trying. In the near future, it will even have free tracking
and charting tools too for analyzing causes and symptoms, but
especially for anonymous comparisons with others like you to
advance medical research even faster! These forums (yahoo,
curetogether, etc) are great, We all have to help each other. I
specifically check and post at:
http://www.curetogether.com/Yeast%20Infection/ so please post
anything you've tried there too. Still hopeful, Faren

Vagistat - Anyone Else Have Problems With?I had a minor
Yeast infection. I bought some vagistat 1. In the
middle of the night major burning and swelling started. Called the
doctor and the nurse said to take a benadryl, if that didn't work
they would give me a shot. The swelling is going down some now. I
looked up info on the web and all the customer
Reviews reported the same thing! Extreme itching,
swelling, etc for days.. If this is affecting so many this way how
can they continue to market this product?

Pre-seed To Aid In TTC?I have been considering using Pre-Seed to
help aid in conception. Most
Reviews of the
product I have heard have been positive, saying they got pregnant
the first month they tried it, but I have also read a couple of
negative reviews, saying they got a
Yeast
Infection when they used it. Has anyone used it
and had a BFP? Any weird side effects?

Birth Control Suggestions/help?Hi, I've 19 years old and have been
with my boyfriend for three years now and we want to have sex! I've
been looking into birth control methods and have had a lot of
trouble. First of all, I went to my doctor to obtain birth control,
and she informed me that due to the fact I get 'classic migraines'
I can't take birth control pills because my risk for a stroke is
much higher than normal people... Therefore all hormonal methods of
birth control are out. Second of all, I'm allergic to latex... I
realize I can use polyurethane condoms, but I don't think I want to
rely on a condom alone. I've been reading a lot about spermicides,
but haven't read any
Reviews too enlightening...
Messy, UTIs,
Yeast infections, burning, etc. I
need help!!! What forms of birth control would you recommend??

Switch Doctors At 38 Weeks?I have not been happy with my doctor and
I am starting to worry as delivery of my son approaches. I had a
Yeast Infection and she game me
stuff to clear it up. When I went back she wasn't even going to
check if it cleared up till I mentioned something. Then she checked
and said it was now even worse. So she gave me another
prescription. The next appointment she forgot to check and I forgot
to ask because I wanted to know if I was dilated more. And she said
I was too difficult to check, which threw me through a loop. I do
squirm a lot and have trouble with anypone touching me there but I
force myself to sit still. How does she know I wasn't raped as a
child? I am just angry. I want a compassionate doctor someone who
cares to deliver my son. I am worried she will give me a c-section
just so I fit her schedule and then she can dismiis me afterwards.
Do you think it is too late to switch. I am not even sure if I can
because of my insurance. My husband thinks I should stay with her
even though I am finding bad
Reviews on her
already. I am also worried that my son will have to be delivered
c-section because of an
Infection she is not
following up on. I have tried everything from over the counter
stuff to home remedies to get rid of any infections. I have lost
confidence in this doctor.

find any
Reviews or any information online about
it. if i'm just weird then i'd rather be weird than take something
not safe.

Alternatives To Hormonal Contraceptives To Control PCOS?I've been
having recurring
Yeast infections for
More than a year, 'thin skin' on my inner labia
and mucous membranes, night sweats, wide awake 3 am until about 7
am, dry skin on my face... these can all be symptoms of low
estrogen. I've been on Nuvaring for about 5 years. I tried going
off the ring to help with the yeast, and it helped a LOT, but in
the 2nd cycle I got a painful cyst, and found out I have PCOS. My
doctor's solution to PCOS was to put me back on hormonal
contraceptive. So of course the
Yeast problems
came back. His solution for that and the thin skin is to give me
estrogen cream (Estrace). I mentioned my night sweat problem and
asked if it might help to go on a pill with
More
estrogen/less progestin but Dr. dismissed it, saying that the
estrogen in the ring is plenty enough to prevent night sweats. I
also asked about tests for estrogen levels, but he said that the
local level in my vagina wasn't necessarily the same as what's
circulating in my whole body, so a blood test would not be
informative. Also I feel pathetic being 31 years old and treated
like I'm menopausal. When I looked up
Reviews of
Estrace, all the women using it are 20-30 years older than me.
There are many things I don't understand... 1) If the cysts result
in the failure to ovulate, why does menstruation ever happen? 2) If
I have been making only cysts all along, why is it that only now it
started hurting? The cysts on the hurting side didn't look any
bigger than the rest of them. 3) I'd rather just go off the ring
and all hormones, since I feel better mentally and physically
without it. But I don't want to get painful cysts again. So I'm
stuck. Could it help if I lost weight, even though I'm not
overweight (5'4' 135 lbs)? What else could I try?? 4) If I have
insufficient estrogen in my vagina - enough to prescribe a cream -
why is it not plausible that I have insufficient estrogen in the
rest of my body, causing things like night sweats? I've read that
Nuvaring has the lowest daily estrogen dose of any hormonal
contraceptive. The doctor didn't explain - he just blew me off. 5)
Is there some kind of specialist beyond a gyno who can help with
this kind of thing? I have the impression that my gyno doesn't care
about PCOS unless I was trying to conceive. Thanks for your advice
and suppport...

Yasmin Birth Control...?So, I have been on brevinor for the past 8
months. I had experience quite a lot of
Yeast
infections, painful sex,
No sex drive. But in the
recent month, I have been ok. I haven't gotten a
Yeast Infection in a couple of
months, My sex drive has been decent but I decided that maybe I
should try a new pill since I am always bloated and gained 5 lbs.
My doctor put me on Yasmin. I start it on sunday and at first I was
happy about it. Since it's so 'glamorised'. But I have been reading
Reviews online and it has been scaring the hell
out of me! I start a ew job soon and the last thing I need is tons
of side affects. I heard you break out, have terrible mood swings,
hair loss, blood clots, and lots of breakthrough bleeding. :/ I
feel like maybe I made a mistake in switching... Any experience
with this BC? Should I give it a try for a month or go back and get
my brevinor?
