AAHH!!! Mcafee Help!!?I am killing myself trying to completely uninstall Mcafee software!! I want to Download the Free Norton Online Security via Verizon Yahoo. It first told me that I had to uninstall Mcafee shredder, and now tells me I have to uninstall Mcafee Security Suite 2005. The crazy thing is, I never had the 2005 version installed, just the 2004 version!!! Nothing about Mcafee is under add/remove programs. I tried using perfect install, but it didn't work!! No traces of the God forbid Mcafee are on my machine!!! I deleted all files in the hard drive and registry! I've tried everything! I looked online and many people have the same problem. Why Is AVG Free The ONLY Antivirus To Detect I-WORM/VB.GG?I searched [Google, hotbot, webcrawl] the net for I-WORM/VB.GG. Guess what? The Grisoft site is the ONLY one with an answer. Mcafee - Adaware SE Personal Antisypware - Problem?My main antivirusware is McAfee. I also like to run my Free AdawareSE Personal antispyware. I went to update my adaware definitions and for the first time, it came up with an error message which said that my firewall (McAfee) was blocking the download. They suggested that I shut off my firewall so I could make the download. I'm afraid to do that as all the stuff that might come in with the download. Antivirus Scan And Antispyware Scan Always Freeze. How To Fix This Problem?I am never able to get a complete antivirus or Antispyware scan because they freeze in the middle. I have Avira antivir premium antivirus. I also have subscription to Mcafee security suite. I uninstalled Avira antivir premium and installed Mcafee suite. But Mcafee scan freezed in the middle too. I then uninstalled Mcafee security suite and installed AVG Free antivirus. Surprisingly AVG Free antivirus scan freezed too! PC tools spyware doctor scan freezed too. I then tried using ad-aware 2008 scan and that freezed too. I have maximum RAM on my laptop of 2GB, so I don't think this has anything to do with memory. I suspect there is some malicious malware or virus that freezes antivirus scan and Antispyware scan. I downloaded lot of things from internet and somewhere some infected file may have downloaded too. I Downloaded Windows Defender On 9/10 Because It Has Free Real Time Protection, But I Think Something Is Wrong?I was having a hard time finding a Antispyware Program that is compatible with the Comcast Mcafee Security Suite. It seemed to be working fine at first, but I was still looking for another Antispyware Program someone recommended Malwarebytes AntiMalware so I installed it yesterday. I have the settings to set scan daily, but Windows Defender keeps saying: You haven't scanned your computer in 3 days. We recommend the you schedule Windows Defender to scan your computer each day. I scanned my computer last night before going to bed, but when I turned my computer on this morning it was still saying I hadn't scanned my computer in 3 days, so I scanned it, then about an hour later it said it again.
