Has Anyone Heard Of Privacy Controls/Paretologic Virus And Spyware Remover?This is strange to me. I've recently noticed an icon on all users desktop called Launch Privacy Controls. When I click on it, it opens up a program window where I have options to scan my computer along with a few other options. My wife and oldest daughter don't know anything about it. That's the part I don't get. Maybe I just don't remember. I was looking around different virus/trojan sites around that time...I don't know. I did click the scan button and it did find alot of junk but I didn't press remove because I'm not sure. Have any of you heard of it? Is The Software Paretologic Privacy Controls Safe?I am just wondering because my buddy is very paranoid about his hardrive cuz he is rather big on downloading music from torrents and just recently recieved a letter concerning his downloading habits and would like to know what would be the best way to wipe his hard drive of anything that is well....personal. What Could Be Responsible For My Laptop Not Shutting Down If I Asked To Shut?I bought some software online and I installed it on my system. I bought Paretologic anti-virus, Paretologic Privacy control and a registry cure to clean my laptop. I noticed from that time that the system would shut sometimes and refuse to shut some other times.
