XBOX 360 Ring Of Death!!!?There seems to be a problem with the early batch Of the 360's. Ring Of death, The green lights around the main button go red meaning hardware failiar, more and more are being reported as it seems to be happening in the 1st year or just after the yearly warranty runs out. For better sure than not, can i after the years warranty take out further warranty and if the Xbox suffers this problem will i be able to get it fixed Free or replaced. I Got The Red Ring Of Death On My Xbox 360, Should I Send It To Microsoft Or Find Out How To Fix It?About 2 months ago I got the 3 Red Light (Ring Of Death) on my Xbox 360 and there was a lot going on in my life that I did not take care Of it at that time, well I want to get this thing fixed as soon as possible. I just checked the back Of the console and it was manufactured on Sept. 26, 2006. I was told that I have a factory warranty with Microsoft for up to 3 years Of the manufactured date. So if this is correct, I am still under warranty and can have it fixed for Free by Microsoft. I know the process takes up to 4-6 weeks to get it back or for them to send me a new one and that is an awful long time to wait with all these hot games out for the 360. Is it better off that I send it into Microsoft and have them Fix it under warranty or should I look around on the internet, youtube, etc. to see how I can Fix this thing on my own or have my local repair man Fix it? He has fixed issues with my Xbox in the past, he is the one who hacked it for me and it has been fine since day one. So should I send it in and try to wait patiently? or see if I can learn how to Fix it on my own or see if my local guy can Fix it or find someone to Fix it for me? Question About The Xbox 360 Ring Of Death?Ok, so my Xbox has the 3 red rings, (i know, theres tons Of questions about it), but I want to know if I'm qualified to get it fixed for free, or if they should send a new one for free. I got my Xbox 360 on Christmas Of 2007. So it just barely turned 1 year old. (cause christmas Of 07 turns into 08 a month later).....
