Xbox 360 Red Ring Of Death Towel Trick Question?I have heard and read recently about the 'towel trick' for the Xbox 360 when it gets the red rings Of death. The directions I recieved were to remove the hard drive and all the cords except the power cord. Turn it on and wrap it in towels and let it run for 15 min. Then unwrap it, turn it off, and allow it to cool for 30 min. I have been told this will provide a temporary Fix that will allow you to use your 360 for anywhere between a couple hours or a couple days. Has anyone tried this? What was the outcome, did it work? Second Time I Have Xbox 360 Ring Of Death.. Need Help Asap!!!?okay.. it all started last week. my Xbox 360 had a Ring Of Death then i went to youtube and saw some clips on how to temporarily Fix your Xbox 360 by using Towel tricks. the first time i wrapped my Xbox 360 with two towels it worked fine. after a week or so which is today, my Xbox 360 has a Ring Of Death again. This time i also performed the Towel tricks and it did not work. unlike the first time, i turned my Xbox system on and it was on throughout the whole 20 minutes Of wrapping.
