Implementation of project

Work Package 1 will mobilise all participants.It will initiate discussions about community-based sturgeon tourism.Activities for collection of data will be launched.

Work Package 2 - To explore the importance of the sturgeon and changes in public attitudes. Measures for compensation-generate new jobs and income instead of illegal fishery

Building knowledge of beluga behaviour

Work Package 3 - Assess the distribution of beluga sturgeon in the Black Sea and the Danube. Understand the impact of the Iron Gate dams and overfishing.

Sturgeon tourism in Danube Delta

Work Package 4 - The aim is to create and promote models for sustainable tourism, to develop tourism infrastructure and a model for tourism based on fish resources.
