40 Weeks 2 Days Pregnant!....?ok so as i said im 40/2 weeks Pregnant and its my first baby.Naturally ive been feeling 'fed up' for the last couple of weeks and im Getting really impatient! I just wondered if theres any mums online at the moment that could tell me about the 'signs' you get just before you go into labour ... ive not seen a mucus plug and have had very little discharge , however last night (i think) i was experiencing braxton hicks contractions. Is this a sure sign or have i still got long to wait? i dont really want to speed the pregnancy along , its just the not knowing whats gonna happen that scares me! PLZZZZZZZ ppl any advice will be appreciated :) xx im quite an impatient person anyways so its driving me insane lol , and to think i could go another week and 5 days is unbearable to think about! im scared of actually going into labour which is y i dont wanna speed it along - but i really wanna meet my baby girl!!!! Can You Get Pregnant If Your Cycle Is 40 Days?I stopped taking birth control in October. My period was a little irregular for a few months after which I understand can be quite normal. Since Jan./Feb. my cycles have been between 36-43 days (most commonly right on 39). Am I still ovulating with this long of a cycle? 40 Weeks Pregnant Tomorrow On And Off Contractions Since Yesterday Afternoon?Yesterday at around 4pm I started having contractions lasting between 30 and 45 seconds every 5 mins, but it only went on for an hour. Got through the night without anymore. Today at about 1pm I was Getting more contractions the same timings but a little more painful these contractions arent consistent as they arent Getting any stronger nor are they every 5 minutes. Along with the back ache I havent been feeling all that good. Can anyone tell me what could be happeing as I was induced with my last and dont know what its like to go into labour Naturally so to speak. I had a show almost two weeks ago. Have contacted the hospital to notify them of what has been happening but they didnt seem too concerned being my 2nd pregnancy I think. Sticky Situation And Almost 40 Weeks Pregnant?around 36 weeks of my pregnancy we had to move for my husbands job, we had no choice it was move or have no income. I was on medicaid in sc and thought i could just transfer to alabama. when i got to new area i found out i had to re-apply in new state and get old state cancelled. well to get cancel letter took two weeks and now im still waiting on medicaid here to either accept or deny, she said it coulkd take up to two more weeks. til then i am uninsured and no doctor will see me. I had some mild abdomen pain last sunday and we went to er. After being there for 4 hours the pain subsided and they told me that baby looks in perfect health and I was 1 1/2 cm dilated. Well as of today I am 39 weeks and two days pregnant. I really have no choice except to just go to the er when I get contractions. I had all my prenantal tests done and had care up til my 36th week when we moved here. Like i said no one will accept me even to pay cash. I have called offices in my area up to an hour away and been shut down every time. the nurses last sunday said hopefully i will go into labor on my own. I want to have baby Naturally and am wondering if by next week if i still have no signs of labor coming on at what point do i know if i have to be induced? And will the hospital end up doing it for me if i still dont have insurance or if by chance get denied since husband makes more money here? Please no rudness I really have tried everything even walk in clinics and health departments. without insurance no one will see me and a lot told me that i was too far along for them to take me as a patient now. this just seems like a nightmare! for past couple days i have felt really tired and weak, also some extra discharge when i go to bathroom and a lot of back pain. 40 Weeks Pregnant, Just Got My Self In A Big Mess About Being Induced?I'm being such a baby i know. But i have suspected pre eclampsia and i have to go to the hospital everyday to get checked. I know its a possibility every time i go i could have to get induced but today they really wanted to do it and i basically refused it. I got myself in such a state and cried loads! The thing is i wasn't prepared at all today, they just sprang it on me and being stuck at the hospital all day i couldn't eat anything (no facility's there other than chocolate vending machines, yes i should have taken something with me but i didn't) and i was so tired from being there all day i just didn't wanna do it. I am going to speak to my midwife tomorrow i think i will let them do it monday but i no it will be a repeat of today where i am going to cry alot and get myself into a mess. I need to calm down but i dont no how to. i'm terrified of it! If i go Naturally i have no choice and i will just go with it because i am doing it there then but if i am induced i know whats coming and i cant calm down. 38 Weeks Pregnant Getting Close To Delivery!?I am now 38 weeks pregnant. My doctor has told me to walk a lot to try to help the baby get ready for delivery. I have a high protein level in my blood that gets dangerous after 40 weeks. So therefore if I don't get the baby out Naturally by next week they are going to induce. I'm 40, 2 Wks Late W/ My Period, NOT Pregnant, Any Advice?I am 2 weeks late with my period. I am usually pretty regular, sometimes a little late. Every month I feel tenderness in my breast 1-2 weeks before I get it. I feel nothing!! I don't even feel like I have PMS. I did 2 tests and I am not pregnant. I don't feel Pregnant anyways. I have 3 kids and know what it's like. I did get much less sleep then normally lately and I have had way more sex then usually. I also do Yoga but have done it for about a year and I don't think I push myself any harder. Can any of the above mentioned factors be the cause of such a delay?
