Can Birth Control Make You Sterile And Does Anyone Have Any Other Tips On Getting Pregnant?My husband and I have been trying to get Pregnant for about 6 months now, I know some people try much longer, but I was wondering if taking Birth Control for a long period of time would make you sterile? I was taking it for almost 7 years, and have been off of it for about a year and a half. My husband use to take growth hormones when he was in middle school till high school, because of a hormone imbalance. Has Anyone Used The Birth Control Patch OrthoEvra And Has Had Trouble Getting Pregnant After You Stop Using ItI have a 3 year old son. I didn't have problems conceiving him and had a normal pregnancy with him. I started the Ortho Evra Birth Control patch soon After his Birth and was On it for close to 2 years. I started hearing of recalls and problems from people that used it, so I stopped using it. Within a few months After I stopped using it, my husband and I started to try for another baby. We've been trying On and off for about years now, but no luck. I say On and off, because my husbands deployed so we can't exactly try while he's away. HELP PLEASE! Old Birth Control? Pregnant?so my story is long and complicated so bare with me. my boyfriend and i started having sex last month, unprotected, useing the withdrawl method, and i'd never been On Birth Control before. last week i went On Birth Control for the first time because he got c u m in me. so he drove me to this girls house and she gave me the Birth Control and told me to take it at the same time everyday so i did as she told, we had sex all week and he stopped pulling out cause he thought we were 'safe' now, up until the friday that just past. On friday night, i looked On the back of the bc packet and found out the Birth Control expired last month. so i paniced and stopped taking it saturday and sunday (which was yesturday). i told my boyfriend i stopped taking it yesturday night and he got really mad. so im thinking about starting up again. Getting Pregnant On The Birth Control Patch???I asked a simular question earlier but people didnt get what i was trying to say. I have some period issues. I get my period for two or three weeks then i dont get it for about two or three months. Its very annoying so i am On birthcontroll to solve the problem and its working great. I want to have a baby.
