If you are thinking of a Craigslist proxy, you can go about it two ways. You can
rent one from someone else or just setup your own. What would be the best
situtation to rent or create your own? If you are posting a lot of ads each day
on Craigslist, looking at setting up your own proxy server would be a good idea.
How much is a lot of ads? Anymore than 50 a day, would mean that I would
consider setting up my own. Posting any less than this would mean that renting
from a middle man to get IPs for Craigslist should be fine. Renting IPs from
other people is fine, but usually they come at a much higher price compared to
setting up your own. If you need to post a lot of ads on Craigslist, look at
investing into your own Craigslist proxy instead of renting from someone else.
You will save a bundle of money.

Are you putting ads on on Craigslist via a Craigslist Proxy? If yes, is it
possible that Craigslist knows your every move? The answer to this is in how
anonymous your Craigslist Proxy is. If you are using an exclusive or proxy
server for Craigslist that you setup yourself and are the only one with access,
then it is fairly safe to say that Craigslist probably has no idea what you are
doing. However, if you use a free proxy or some common use proxy shared by many
people, you aren't as lucky. Free or shared proxy servers typically perform
poorly when compared with elite or exclusive proxy servers. This is because
shared proxies usually can be detected as a proxy server by Craigslist.
Furthermore, you may be using a server that has several people on it who also
post on Craigslist.. Do you want to share a proxy server with 50 other people
who are also posting on Craigslist? Obviously not. If you are using an elite
Craigslist Proxy then you should be safe and anonymous on Craigslist.

Finding that you always get ads flagged on Craigslist? A lot of people seem to
think that ads are flagged due to some IP or proxy reason.. This is not the
case.
If ads are flagged on Craigslist it is because visitors to Craigslist considered your ad spam or unappropriate, it has nothing to do with any kind of Craigslist detection. The following reasons are typically the main cause of people flagging your ads:
A. What you are posting on Craigslist is spam or perceived as spam. In terms of content, posting frequency or posting locations.
B. You have scum bag competitors that are selling / promoting the same thing you are. You will find that they are just delibrately flagging your ads wherever possible. There are actually groups of people who get together and do this.
Most of the time the reason your ad was flagged was because one of the above happened. It usually is not due to your Craigslist proxy.

If you have your own Craigslist Proxy then something that is vital to
know about is security. Having to constantly enter usernames and passwords when
changing IPs can be tiring but should not be neglected. Due to the nature of the
internet, all someone needs to know is the IP address of your proxy server and
they can have complete access.. However, some may think that finding the IP of
your proxy server is next to impossible due to the large amount of other
machines and IPs on the internet. Technology today can allow someone to
potentially find your proxy server with great ease by simply scanning IP ranges
looking for servers that are not secured with a password. For this reason it is
strongly suggested that you ALWAYS use a login and password on your proxy
server. If someone else gains access to your proxy server then you can be held
liable for any damages that they do through the use of it. Instead of not using
a password, look to use software the can save usernames and passwords for the IP
ports on your proxy to save time. These software programs still allow you to
save time by not having to type passwords and agand again but allow you to keep
the level of safety that your Craigslist Proxy requires.

Ads won't show up on Craigslist? Can't figure it out? This could be due to a
number of reasons why you might be having problems getting ads to appear on
Craigslist. Here are a few tips to help you out and hopefully get your ads to go
live.
First, don't use words that you think might not be suitable for the category. If you are posting in the for sale section, don't post an unrelated ad such as a small business opportunity. Craigslist uses complex filters to try and stop people from posting ads in the wrong section. Each section on Craigslist is different and most likely uses a different set of filters. Second, don't use html codes outside of what Craigslist supports. Craigslist lists on their site which html codes they permit and using unsupported codes may mean your ads are blocked. Third, limit the number of posts you make per day per IP. If possible try and post 1 ad from 1 IP each day and no more. Going over this limit this will work, but posting a lot of ads from one or a few IPs in a short amount of time may result in you being blocked. Finally, avoid using any html images in your ads. Some section do permit the use of html images but posting images still increases the chance your ad will be blocked. Other sections do not permit images at all and all ads with images are blocked.
Getting up ads on Craigslist can cause a lot of stress, but by following the above tips you should reduce the amount of trouble. You may also consider looking into a Craigslist proxy to improve the rate of your ads going live.

Web proxies are a commonly known and used proxy resource. Their very name
webproxy falsely leads people into believing that a webproxy can be used as a
Craigslist proxy. However, this simply doesn't work. The main problem with
webproxies is their lack of anonymity. If you want to be able to post
advertisements on Craigslist with as little trouble as possible then this is
something you need to pay attention to. Web proxies reveal their true nature to
anyone that inspects the IP. Since they do not attempt to hide or conceal the
fact that they are web proxies, it is very easy for websites such as Craigslist
to detect web proxies and ban any ads coming from them. Webproxies are easy to
setup and usually free making people believe that they are a good and plentiful
solution to post ads with on Craigslist. This obviously doesn't work and they
quickly become frustrated. Even though free is good, webproxies and other free
proxies simply do not work with Craigslist and the only real solution is to
spend a few dollars on setting up and creating your own Craigslist proxy.

There are two main things that impact the number of IPs you should setup with
your proxy server. How much money you can spend on your proxy and just how many
ads you would like to post on Craigslist play an important role. If you don't
have enough IPs you can't post enough ads. So obviously the more IPs you have
the better if you are looking to post lots of ads. Are you just going to post
one or two ads on Craigslist a day? Or do you need to get hundreds of ads up?
Anyone who wants to be a casual poster and post only a few ads shouldn't need
more than 1 IP on their proxy server. Anymore than this would be a waste of
money and resources. However, if you need more than one hundred ads per day you
should look at getting anywhere from 5 to 10 IPs to begin. A general rule of
thumb is that for every 10 ads you want to post, you will need 1 IP. This will
allow you to easily and quickly evaluate if you have enough or not enough IPs on
your Craigslist proxy to fullfil
your posting needs.

If you are looking to setup your own Craigslist Proxy then you may want to give some thought to getting IPs from C class IP ranges. It isn't a topic that is discussed often, but by not making sure you are using IPs on your proxy server from different C class IP ranges you are opening the door to be blocked by Craiglsist.
IPs are divided into different ranges, A B C and D. These ranges are used to identify the network and network ID. Every computer online has an IP which allows it to communicate with other computers online, essentially functioning as an online mailing address or phone number. The most common method used to change your IP is by reconnecting to the internet, but usually the new IP you are assigned is within the same range. This allows companies and other people to more easily identify your activities as even after changing your IP, it has not been changed to the extent that they are unable to make any connection between your old and new IP. Craigslist could potentially use a setup that tracks IP activity to find similarities between IPs online and stop unwanted spam. Using different C class IP ranges on your proxy server would definitely make it much harder or almost impossible for Craigslist to do this.
As previously mentioned, Craigslist could potentially be able to log and block your activity online if you are using IPs that are from within the same C class IP range despite posting from different accounts (as your new IP is similar to the last and may make it possible for your activity to be flagged or detected). This very same concept of using different C class IP ranges applies to proxy servers and is something you should pay great attention to. Generally speaking, IPs that are assigned to proxy servers are normally within the same C class range, which is what you do not want. Anonymity is very important for anyone posting on Craigslist, so be sure to get a Craigslist Proxy with IPs in different C class IP ranges.

Having trouble gettings your posts on Craigslist? Usually there is one main reason for this and that is why you more than likely will need a Craigslist proxy to get your ads showing. Craigslist operates multiple sites around the world. You must live in the country you want to put an ad on, otherwise you simply will not be able to post classified advertisements. Craigslist utilizes this as a way to control spam. What would make people want to post advertisements on countries they don't live in? The main reason stems from the amount of traffic some countries generate compared to others, such as China vs the USA. The work around for this problem is through the use of a proxy. However, not just any proxy will work. The reason they typically don't work is because Craigslist knows about these kinds of proxies. By simply filtering out ads coming from these free proxies, unwanted ads are automatically removed. Furthermore, free proxies are a bad idea because they are more often than not extremely slow. Free proxies usually are overloaded with people because it is free. Web browsing can typically be very, very slow. Anyone who wishes to try and post classified ads on Craigslist look at investing in a Craigslist proxy which only you can use.
