I Think My Landlord Ripped Me Off, He Didn't Prorate My First Month. Can Someone Verify My Logic?Hello, I graduated last year and rented a room startin Apr. 3, 2006. I was told i needed to pay one month for security and $650 for the month, which i did ($1300). But he expected payment on the 27th and i asked him why he didn't prorate my rent for the first month. I lost my copy of the first lease (3 month lease stayed there for a year). He told me he looked into it and everything was ok. But recently i moved out and found the first lease. He's been fishy about some stuff, so decided to do some math and i came up with this. Is this calculation correct: the rent is due on the 27th so i should not have been charged for March [28,29,30,31] and Apr [1,2], which is a total of six days. I averaged the daily cost by ($650 * 12 months)/365 Days = $21.36. So i overpaid him by $128.16. I never rented from anyone before, so i wanted to know if this is correct before i confront him. I can't stop feeling that he cheated me. Any insight or advice will be greatly appreciated I know its only a 100+ dollars, and i have money in the bank. 17, Extremely Painful Cramps, Period 18 Days, Normal?Im 17 and I've had my period since i was 13. Every 1st, and 3rd Days of my period i have excruciating painful cramps. So severe that i would have to skip school and call in sick to work. I tried heating pads and that just made them worse. They are so bad i want to just rip my uterus out. And for the past year or so they have been every 18 days, when they should be between 21-35 days. They usually only last for 4 days, but if they last longer i have really painful cramps on the 5th day as well. My mom never has cramps and my friends' are never this bad. Is this normal? Am I Being Ripped Off By My Employer ?I was working for my employer through a temp agency and they decided to hire me on full time. So on my Employment offer letter it states that my starting salary will be $3083.33 per month, equivalent to $37,000.00 annually, payable on the 15th and last day of the month. But I was confused because I am hourly. I got my first check and it did not state the hourly rate. I spoke to payroll and they explained that I will be working 1950 hours this year (37.5 per week) and they divided $37,000.00 by 1950 comes up to $18.97. What Is Wrong Wtih Me Please Help?Alright it has been 21 Days since my LMP. My husband and I have been ttc for roughly 5 months. We are taking it day by day and not stressing ourselves out about it.
