Carpal Tunnel Relief Pregnancy - Carpal Tunnel Syndrom In Pregnancy How Do I Get Relief?My OBGYN said if it got bad I could get a brace but I tried that with my first pregnancy it wasnt until months of pain and finally being refered to a specialist that I got a cortisone shot after delivery. Why cant I get one now to help relive the pain? What have some of you done it hurts so bad sometimes that I can use my thumb or wrist and I cant lift anything heavy like a gallon of milk. Went to Doc and it wasnt carpal tunnel cause from excess swelling but another form of tendonitis they will have to do a shot after delivery but I have the brace till then. Is There A Way To Relieve Pregnancy Carpal Tunnel?My doctor just said its normal during Pregnancy but didn't say if there is anything I can do about it and I totally forgot to ask. Has anyone been able to find relief? I already wear wrist bands for Carpal Tunnel and it hasn't helped. It seems to be worse the first half of the day when I can't even pick things up. My fingers are constantly numb and I cant even close my fist without the most pain I have ever felt in my hands. I think I can deal with the numbness, I just need the pain to ease up. Any ideas? Have You Ever Had A Cortisone Injection To Relieve Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?I have Pregnancy related Carpal Tunnel in both wrists and it is getting unbareable. I wear the braces and they dont help one bit. I am TERRIFIED of getting a cortisone injection in my wrists because of all the horror stories I have heard from people about how painful it is. I have a month and a half left of this Pregnancy and Im wondering how long it will last (the Relief from the shot) and if its worth the pain of the shot to relieve the pain of the Carpal tunnel.
