Tendonitis,
Arthritis Or
Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome?I went to the General doctor
because another thing i had
And i also told him
about the pain on my hands I've felt. I did an X-ray
And he said didn't show anything, but my blood
test (which was for checking my joints) was positive. Then he
referred me to a rheumatoid doctor (or something like that). he
didn't know what could be once the x ray was ok. So, it's not
tendonitis, right? could it be arthiritis or
Carpal tunnel? I don't have insurance
And the appointment with the other doctor will be
just in 3 months, which I know it's too far
And it
can leave with a chronic problem. What could I do to avoid getting
worse? I am a house cleaner
And i know it's
because of this. But i can't leave my job. which kind of those
'wrist gloves' i could use? i was using one the compress the wrist,
but i just read it shouldn't be tight if it's
Carpal syndrome. is there an anti inflammatory
over the counter i could use? i used bengay
And in
the beginning worked out, but now, it makes the pain even worse.
Thanks for the first answer, but i don't want to take pain killers,
i want to fix it, or at least get rid of the inflammation. the x
ray was of the wrist
And fingers

Anyone Here With Rheumatoid
Arthritis
And Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome?IF so,
And you
cannot work, what kind of work can you do without using your hands.
I mean do you sell, are you a speaker, have a degree where you
don't necessarily have to use your hands that much? I cannot work
retail, sales, computers, filing, bookstores, or anything that
involves lifting, computers, files so basically I'm out a lot of
jobs
And a degree is out of the Q, as I went to
trade school for court reporting. Any help out there?

It Has Been Suggested That This Could Be Juvenile
Arthritis Or
Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome. What Do You Think?I have this
non-stop, dull achy pain, that I have had since I was about 12
years old (I'm 17 now). It's mostly in my wrists
And thumbs,
And some of my
fingers. Some times the muscles spasm (sort of) momentarily
And I drop what I am holding
And
have worsened pains that last a few minutes. Also, my thumbs,
wrists
And fingers feel stiff lots of times. It
makes it hard to write, type (not as bad though, I'd much rather
type than use a pen), play the flute/clarinet/sax/piano
And hold things. It's a lot worse in my write
hand/wrist
And the right is also slightly larger
than my left,
And I used to get ganglions on my
wrist as well, but I have not had any for about a year.
And now this has started happening in my knee,
where it spasm
And hurts. I don't know if this is
relevant, but I also have a recurring blotchy, dry rash, that comes
And goes
And has since around the
time the pain started. I'm not trying to self diagnose, I have an
apointment in two weeks with my GP, I was just curious what you
people think.

How Do You Know If You Have
Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome?I have pain in my right wrist that
comes
And goes. some days are worse than others
And some days it doesnt hurt at all. It is right
at the pulse point on my wrist,
And hurts when I
try to lift or make a pinching motion with my thumb
And 1st
And 2nd finger. Any
ideas? I saw a doctor today
And she thought maybe
Arthritis or tendinitis, but made no mention of
CTS. I was prescribed Naproxen
And a wrist splint.
Should I get a second opinion?

Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome... Where Should I Go From
Here?I have been having pain in my hands for a little over a year
And just recently my doctor thought it might be
Carpal Tunnel syndrome. He
suggested I have an EMG test done. The results came back
And i did indeed have
Carpal
tunnel. I received cortisone shots in each wrist a little over a
week ago
And have gotten little to no improvement.
What should be the next step, surgery? I've been wearing wrist
splints at night
And they don't seem to help...
Could i possibly have another problem as well as
Carpal Tunnel? If i bend down the first joint of
every finger i experience pain
And also a clicking
sensation in my thumb. Is this common with
Carpal
Tunnel or is it something else. I have been tested
for
Arthritis And this is not the
case....

Do I Have
Carpal Tunnel
Syndrome?Hi there, I have recently realized that my fingers (first
3
And thumb)
And my palm are
quite weak. I'm only 19, I usually do a lot of biking (not that
that would have any effect on my hands), I am an artist,
And I have never fractured or broken a bone in my
entire life. So back to my question, I have extreme weakness in my
hand (excluding my pinky)
And it makes me unable
to grip anything easily. Again, I never broke a bone/ wrist/ arm/
etc. nor have I fractured anything... I have a pain (on my right
now, sometimes my left)
And its always between my
thumb
And forefinger (first finger/ pointer
finger). It normally lasts about 20-40 minutes and, especially at
the beginning, renders me unable to grab anything easily
And work on anything. It's kind of a numb feeling
And it sometimes makes me laugh because it feel so
disturbingly messed up... My right forearm sometimes feels pain,
but it is only on occasion. Usually never when I have this
numbness/ strength-less-ness. I do do work on the computer, usually
typing (and sometimes video games), but it never occurs when I am
doing anything of that sort. It only happens when I am working on a
project or when I am resting. So does this sound like
Carpal Tunnel syndrome? Could it
be something else? I just need some kind of reasoning...
And I just need to know if it is sometimes common
in teens? Will it effect anything in the future, like
Arthritis damages bones
And
cartilage, will CTS do anything I would very much dislike?

Pain In My Left Arm,
Carpal
Tunnel Syndrome?Since yesterday, I've had a
terrible pain in my left arm,
And numbness on the
tips of my ring
And little finger.
And sometimes numbness sets in on those fingers.
I'm thinking it's the fact that my left arm hardly does anything,
my right arm
And hand is basically what I do
everything with. If I lay it on a desk or something, the pain
becomes even worse. I also have an obsession with popping my
fingers (which I think can be causing a problem too).
Arthritis runs heavily in my family too. I'm only
13! Is it something like
Carpal tunnel? Because my
Mom had it too.

painful that i have to apply pressure to my legs by sitting on
them. im 15
