Looking For Title/author Of Fiction Book. Dealt With Out Of Body Travel...astral Projection?I need help finding the title of a book. I read it many years ago...probably in the 80's, but it could have been published before then. It just keeps popping up in my mind! It was about a man whose daughter had joined a cult. The leader of the cult is capable of Astral Projection (out of body travel). In order to fight the leader, the father sees some type of 'guru'(?) who gives him a 'crash course' in Astral projection. Learning to do it so quickly would supposedly lead to either mastering it, or insanity. Part of the training involved staring at a wall for hours(?) days(?). Eventually, the father learned Astral projection, fought the cult leader while out of body, and defeated him by cutting a cord that lead back to his physical body. I think the cover MAY have had a picture of a teddy bear with a knife in it? ...and maybe a rat? Now that I think of it...the cult leader may have taken over the body of a rat at some point.... Good {Free} Astral Projection Technique?So- for a long amount of time I've been interested in Astral Projection, have purchased one book, and have borrowed one book from a public library. I have gone to countless websites trying to learn a technique that will really work, but unfortunately I still have had a lot of failures. Almost all of the techniques involve laying down in bed and kind of waking yourself up right before you go to bed- but I always end up falling asleep. Astral Projection, Secret Moon Base?Lately i've been reading about the conspiracy of a secret moon base. Of Course i do not believe it, the entire concept really sounds kind of absurd. Now my question is i've read online some people claiming they have astrally projected and been led to or seen this supposed moon base. I do believe in Astral Projection although i have never achieved one myself it seems like a solid concept backed by similar accounts and testomonials from literally thousands upon thousands of people over the Course of time. What Should I Do If I Suspect A Family Member Is Getting Involved In A Sect?Serious answers only, please. I suspect a family member (my sister) might be involved in a sect. At first I thought it was just something flaky, with new age meetings and such, an it sounded pretty harmless, but now she's talking about Astral Projection in dreams, and getting into new 'levels', during meetings and dealings with the underworld and stuff like that. And the way she's talking, I'm worried her critical mind is gone and she just takes all these things for hard cash, without questioning what's going on and what's behind the 'teachings' of this group. Did Any Of You Have Religiously Confused Parents?My family tried to raise me a christian, but they were confused. My mother would tell me stories about Icarus and Pandora, when I asked her if they were true, she said 'Of Course they're true, they're in the Bible.' My dad has never been very religious but he tried to respect the rest of the family in a Christian upbringing, but every once in a while would pull out something like the teachings of Buddha or Astral projection. I'm Interested With Some Mystical Experiences But Mostly I Suck!!?Do you know 'astral projection' and 'aura'? If you don't, this topic will look most probably non-sense to you.
