Is There A Speciality Book Store, Service Or Web Site That Searches For Books For A Fee?There's a book that I've been Searching for, for a long time. I seem to recall that there is a store that advertises that if you know the plot or the picture on the cover, etc., that they'll search for the book (for a fee) and if they find the book the fee is applied to the cost of the book and if they don't find the book the fee is refunded. Anyone heard of such a thing? The book was about a girl who was abducted by a cult. The father began investigating and found that the cult leader was an expert in Astral projection. How Do I Contact My Spirit Guide, Animal Guide, Totem, Etc.?I have been doing some research on spirit guides (or whatever you prefer to call them) and I was wondering how I could find out what my guide is and how I can reach it/ them. Pain ached all up and down my body. I couldn't take it. I wanted to die. My vision was blurry and I was dizzy. Suddenly, I felt a cold, rushing breeze and pain shot through my neck. It was like sharp needles had punctured my body. The pain continued on, screaming at me mocking me and my strength. I felt heavier and exhausted. So, this is what it felt like to die. While embracing the moment of death, hands came over my head and I sat upright with something warm and sweet filling my mouth. The liquid had just made the pain worse. I was dizzier. Sleepier. Even weaker when I thought it couldn't get worse. I was lying on an alley floor in Scottland. Some way to die. I thought. The hands on me were cold and smooth. They picked me up with ease. This was it. Whoever this was, was going to take me to my family and tell them I died. I wasn't going to have a future. I wasn't going to get married or have a child. Immortality And Physics?Immortality and physics? Is the concept of immortality true or exist in human? Does the concept of brain transplant or transfer soul exist? Can immortality be processed by technology or physics? Additional Details 12 hours ago I learn that immortality exists in humans. It is termed reincarnation in Buddhism. In the Buddhist scripture, it mentioned or believes in reincarnation. But I learn that reincarnation is not natural but done with a Buddhist monk who will temporarily store or take your soul. Then some part of your brain or fluid of your brain is preserved and it is transferred to another human being by a professional or a doctor. I know even this technique is used in the public but it is not widely discussed. Because you see the person who receives your reincarnation or your soul dies. That is why it is not widely accepted in the Medical community or the religious community. Another thing, I don't recall exactly it was a dream, but I saw they unwind fiber optics from a person's brain and reads what they see in their life then transfer this consciousness to another body. Being that we last so short of a time compared to the rest of the cosmos can make one think that if we were somehow connected to it, then we could live almost forever until our elementary particles decomposed. And since we know that half-lives of many particles, one can also think that if we were pure energy we could theoretically live forever! But who would want to be immortal? If you mean if you can live forever in your body, it is not likely possible right now. Our bodies ware out as does our heart. That is why we die. There is this thing happing where you can have your brain cryogenicilly (sp?) frozen so in the future once the technology becomes available they'll be able to 'grow' you a new body. But 'defrosting' our brains might have damage cause tissue damage. Soul in my opinion described as how we think and who we are, which are just brain waves (how we think), and if those can be replicated or 'saved' on to something (like a hard drive for example, or chip) it could be possible to transfer it. If you've ever seen 'John Doe' in one episode it was shown like that. And even in an episode of 'Batman Beyond.' Our bodies are just vessels for our brains, our heart is just how we survive. If we could find a way for a machine to to connect to our brain, then it would be possible. I'm Interested With Some Mystical Experiences But Mostly I Suck!!?Do you know 'astral projection' and 'aura'? If you don't, this topic will look most probably non-sense to you. My Ended Short Story (910 Words) Please Read It And Comment And Give Comments Or How To Improve It?Fear and Power “Overcome your fears” Isn’t that what you’re told every time you can’t do something alone? When you feel life is getting so unbearably hard… when something frightens you? It’s so easy to say it, so easy to hear it and think ‘I’ll do it, I can’… but the truth is, by the time you are in front of a challenge, everything you once thought disappears. You’re left in blank, there’s no enough time to think you’re reactions, no reasoning, and your body just acts by instinct… ‘Am I dead?’ was the first thing that crossed his mind. He saw his blond curls, his pale skin lying on the bed, half a meter below him and couldn’t understand a thing. His eyes were closed, no trace of his deep turquoise eyes left, and even though he tried to wake up, it seemed impossible. He attempted to scream for help, but no sound came from his mouth. Not one thing stirred and all was quiet. He tried again to hear his own voice, but the silence continued to reign. A sudden horror descended upon him as he realized he could no longer speak nor move. There was a strange feeling all over his body. He could listen more things, see past rooms, feel what had happened before, and the forces that were in his room. Even though this sounds wonderful, super hearing, super senses, he felt weird, not a nice feeling. He couldn’t do much without his body control… or could he? His mind struggled to see if there was any connection with his body – nothing. Suddenly he felt a faint muffle in the background. Someone had entered his room, but who? The voice grew louder and more familiar. The sweet sound of a woman's voice swelled in his ears. One girl came to his mind - Shannon. 'I’m here locked in… help!' Spencer bellowed throughout his mind, 'if only the girl I loved could hear me.' She just thought he was asleep and decided to go and leave him rest… without knowing he might be resting without a way of coming back. Phenomenon – this is my story. After Shannon came I realized there weren’t many things I could do, that the only escape was waking up, and that didn’t seem viable. I could now sense more things, feel full body vibrations, racing heartbeats, listen new a strange humming and have a super view. I started feeling a presence, which didn’t seem friendly. I skimmed through the room and felt a dark energy which I’d never felt before, maybe because of the shock. I turned to face it, and as I did it yelped at me. I got terrified, and, a fraction of a second later, I knew I was back in my body. What would I do now? Would I tell my friends? My parents? No, they would think me crazy, and that, wouldn’t help. I decided to go for a walk; to the library maybe, do some research. The sun was shining bright, the sky matched Spencer’s eyes, but there were some clouds, little ones, which blurred the sky’s view. He entered the huge glass door and greeted the old lady in the library. She was always there, reading the same thing. Spencer wondered what had happened to her, what her story was, but now, he had more important things in mind. He went to the paranormal section, but was lost. Where would he start looking? He searched for the librarian and asked if she knew something about souls leaving bodies all of a sudden and finding yourself flying on top of it. He told her it was for a school project. The good news were: it was Astral unfolding, he’d discovered it. The bad ones: he couldn’t control it. He wondered why that had happened to him, that it wasn’t normal and discovered the common reason (not that this was common) was because of stress or a high concentration level. Well, that might be. He’d been in a lot of exams lately and he had a lot of pressure. I discovered I can move at the speed of light, even faster. I just have to think about a place and I appear there. I can know things about the past, and sometimes even about the future. I feel presences, energies, things that are not normal. The further I’ve gone is the next room, which doesn’t seem far I know, but I start feeling that I need my body if I get too distant, and well, also because I’m a bit scared because of the dark spirit. Spencer did this Astral Projection for about a year, in which he proved that what he saw was actually happening and not just illusions. When he saw the maid cleaning with a certain cloth and then went (already awaken) to see if it was true, he saw he was right about everything. He also went a bit further, overcame his fears. He now could travel to many places, but decided to always stay in his same year, not go to the past nor to the future. Anyhow, he couldn’t change the past, and what fun did it have to know what would happen next? But one day he suddenly decided to stop, to have full resting, and he hasn’t done it in 3 months, but who knows, maybe he’ll miss it too much and go back to the phenomenal world. [ Read More ]
