How Much Should I Charge: Scanning Priceless Photos And Putting Them On A Dvd(5 Copies)?well im 14 and basically I have been asked to scan these priceless family photos and put them onto dvds and make about five copies. he has given me the disks about 20 so I have enough. there are about 500+ photos. about half in b+w. he has said that whatever I charge it doesn't matter but I dont Wanna rip him off and I don't Wanna be Ripped off! also I have to buy a new scanner( I was gunna Get one anyway) gunna Get CanoScan 4400F for around £50-60 and I will put that on the bill. oh. it doesn't do formatting. ok ignore things was italics the scanner is £55 on amazon but considering comparing others. in uk btw so you say 25p/$0.50 a scan? although thats not a lot on its own, it seems a hell of a lot £250/$500, but I will count how many hours I take (i am not going to do it stupidly fast/slow) but how much an hour would you say? cheers [ Read More ]

My Ins Company Wanna Rip Out My Kitchen 2 Replace Damaged Flooring Then Put The Old Kitchen Back! Is This FairMy home was recently flooded from under the ground due to the water board opening a valve outside my house which had been closed for over 40yrs! After hearing a hissing sound, my flooring suddenly split and water flowed into my kitchen and bathroom for over an hr! My ins company sent out a surveyor who wants to rip out my kitchen and bathroom suite to replace the damaged flooring then put all the old kitchen and bathroom suites back in!
