Will A
Baby Crying Themself To
Sleep Develop Personality
Issues
In The Long Run???I know people have different opinions when it
comes to a
Baby sleeping. but i am a nanny and i
have an issue. i had the
Baby on a
Sleep schedule. sometimes i would put the
Baby down for a nap and he will fuss then fall
asleep a minute later. the mother walks the
Baby
to
Sleep on the weekends and tells me that babies
crying themselves to
Sleep will mess up their
personality in the long run. I do not believe in letting a
Baby cry for too long but if you ask me, it is
important for a
Baby to learn to sooth themselve
to sleep. i have tried to walk him to
Sleep and it
just doesn't work. he thinks it's play time:-) someone let me know
what you think please

Baby Sleep
Issues!!! BIG TIME!!!?This may be a little
lengthy, so please forgive. I have a nine month old daughter every
night since the day she was born, she's had the same bedtime
routine. Bath, massage, cuddle, book, bed (by nursing). In the
beginning she did really good and slept almost all through the
night, even at 3 months (minus the night time feedings.) Now all of
the sudden everything has changed and I'm at my wits end. I've
never been so tired. I've gone the last 3 days running off of 3
hours of sleep. She naps during the day for 10 min durations and
that's once at noon. She is teething but she gets a dose of tylenol
and night time
Baby Oragel. I can't figure out
what is going on!!! Any ideas on how to get her to
Sleep or what changes need to be made let me know
PLEASE!!! She goes to
Sleep just fine, but she
wakes up an hour later and stays up until 6 in the morning, then
sleeps for another couple hours waking at 8:30. And then it's
almost all day. Please help, I'm begging for any answers, I've
consulted my Doctor and he says there is nothing wrong with her and
this could just be a phase, if anyone could elaborate I would be
very happy!!!!! Exhausted, and Empty Mother.....

Baby Sleep
Issues. My 7 Mo Will Not Take Her Nap?My
daughter is 7 months old now and just over the past couple of days
has decided that she will NOT take any nap during the day after
8am. She wakes up at 5:30, goes to bed at 5:3-6. She used to nap 3
good times a day, now she just won't go to sleep. She screams and
crys all day, rubs her eyes all day and is in an absolutely
horrible mood all day because of it. Can anyone tell me what I can
do to help my child nap on her own if I can no longer put her down
to sleep?

My
Baby Has
Sleep Issues?My
daughter is ten months old and she's right at walking. She likes to
kick and play throughout the day and she used to go to bed when it
was bedtime and take her naps on time when she started getting
grumpy. But now within the past few weeks she's started acting
differently at bedtime. I always hold her and rock her till she
dozes off then I lay her in her crib and she sleeps through the
night but now she'll notice that she's dozing and wake up and start
bouncing and giggling and when I try to put her in her crib for
Sleep she'll kick and bounce and kick the side of
her crib. Is this just another stage of development? What do I do?

has really really really been unable to sleep. He tries but man
does he continually wake up! I shoud letyou know thathe had been
forced to
Sleep in our room over the last few days
which is not normal for us and is also teething. That said, he has
been teething for a long time and has slept with us before when he
was younger without incident. We are concerned, irritated and
needing to know if any of you have experienced this with your 9

Baby Girl Having
Sleep
Issues......?O.k. I know a lot of you are going to read this and
think how dare me for going back to work. Anyways........I was off
for my 6 week maternity leave and I had my
Baby on
a good schedule as far as, she would
Sleep for 2
or 3 hours, wake up to feed and I would change her diaper and play
w/her for an hour, then she would fall asleep for 2 or 3 hours. We
did this all day and all night. Now that I have started work this
week, she is going to grandma's house in the morning from 8:30a.m.
to 5:30p.m. It is difficult for grandma to get her to nap. She
takes really short naps for like 15 or 20 minutes a couple times a
day and that's it. Well, when I get her home, she falls asleep at
like 6p.m and doesn't wake up until 11p.m. then i feed her, change
her, play w/her, and she falls back asleep for another 4 or 5
hours. Then I have to drag her off to grandma's all over again. She
is eating great, using the bathroom great, and she is not that
fussy. Is this normal?

Sleep Issues - My
Baby Nurses All Night And Wakes Up Every Few
Hours.?My son is 10 1/2 months old, he's been sleeping with me
since he was born. He wakes up several times at night to to nurse
and it's driving me mad! He won't
Sleep in his
crib alone as he looks for my breast constantly. I'm so tired and I
just want him to be a little more independent in the nighttime
hours! Does anyone have any intelligent personal experience they
can share with me? Please don't suggest cry it out - I don't like
the idea of it as it is and I already tried it anyway to no avail!
Thanks for your time.

Baby
Sleep And Gas Issues. Help? Suggestions? How
can I keep my 4 month old son sleeping nicely during the night? He
has no problems going to
Sleep when it's bedtime
after our routine. He wakes up once an hour fussing. Someone told
me that it could be gas. I have some mycolin drops coming on mail
order as they don't have them where I live. Do they really help?
I've tried gripe water, tummy massage, pushing his legs against his
belly (sometimes hilarious results), and not feeding him at night
unless I knew he was hungry (which he was ok with a few times)
Right now I'm so desperate to have him sleep, I put him in his
swing in the bedroom. I know I'm supposed to but he needs
Sleep and so do I. Yea, he's like that during the
day too. He doesn't have acid reflux; we tested for that when he
was 6 weeks. He likes chewing on his teethers we bought and his
fingers. He sleeps in our room as we don't have an extra bedroom
for him.

<--- this would be a safer alternative to the hairdryer. I
forgot. There is some stuff here called Minifom which removes the
bubbles from the milk but I stopped using it due to it having
estrogen in it.

2 Month Old
Baby Sleeping Issues.?My 2 month old
Baby has been sleeping in her bassinet for awhile
now. I've been trying for atleast 3 weeks now to transition her
into her crib with strict routine such as giving her a bath, then
feeding her, reading her a book and rocking her til she's slightly
sleepy and putting her in her crib, also playing comforting music
for it. It's not she's not comfortable in her room because I've
played with her in there constantly and even given her naps in
there but as soon as I walk out of the room, she fusses and cried
and refused to
Sleep in her crib. She's too young
to cry it out so I try to sooth her in her crib without picking her
up but it doesn't work. I usually give up around 3 am(which I put
her in her crib around 7, 7:30) and she falls right asleep. Anyone
have any ideas or comments? She does
Sleep through
her night in her bassient she sleeps for a good 6 hours. Everyone
tells me not to rock her to
Sleep bc then she will
get dependent on being rocked to sleep. but I put her in her
bassient slightly drowsy and she knocks out cold. It's like she
just hates the room. but she always wakes herself up in the
bassient because it's slightly too small..and she does enjoy naps
in her crib since she has more room. it's just like she wants to
know she's sleeping in the same place I am. I dunno. she's too
young to know that lol
