My Husband And I Are Making An Offer On A Home We Like Tomorrow With A Realtor, What Should We Do To Prepare?The Realtor has asked for a $1000 check and a pre-approval letter. Is It Legal For My Realtor To Have This Type Of Contact With My Lender?I have been approved for 300k by lenders A and B, and 200k by lender C. The house I am interested in is 260k. I want to see this house again but my Realtor refuses to show...because she has been speaking to lender C and thinks I do not have enough. I never told her how much lender C approved me for, and she does have the preapproval Letters from A and B. It makes me feel uncomfortable that she is able to call the mortgage company and recieve this information. Is this legal? My Realtor is friends with lender C. I wish I could just fire my realtor.
