What's The Best Way For A
Realtor To Find A
Serious Buyer Or Seller?I've tried news paper, internet,
door-to-door
Postcards but all I got are the
none-serious buyer or seller. Are there any other ways I can try to
be sure I get some serious buyers and sellers? Any good idea would
be helpful!

How Do I Obtain Apartment Numbers For Mass Mailing?I am helping a
Realtor with a postcard mailing.
Postcards will be mailed to apartments surrounding
a townhouse complex with units for sale. I have the addresses of
the apartments; however, I don't have the unit numbers and don't
want to assume that if there are 36 apartments the would be Unit
1-Unit36. Is there a source on the internet to obtain this
information. Can you help! Robin

Need Advice Marketing Myself As A Realtor(r)...what Would Prod Or
Encourage A Response From YOU To Employ Me?Hello!! I was licensed
in one state, moved had to become licensed here. I've been in 'the
business' since mid-March. I send out 25 weekly Open House
invitations to other agent's houses (I have none yet so I hold
other's listings OPEN), I have business cards a website my company
provides, plus I'm building my own site as we speak. I'm very
creative with Desktop Publishing have lots of ideas, but limited
cash to spend. WHAT ADVERTISING or marketing would YOU respond to
if you needed services or info from a Real Estate Agent? Postcard
in the mail? Offer of a free service? Seeing my pretty picture?
(lol, it is kinda cute, though) Seeing my logo on the back of my
jacket at the movies? Glossy ad in a local magazine or a personal
newspaper ad? Goody bag handed to you at your doorstep from me?
What? Please list the idea YOU would buy into. Please help. I've
got to make some money to have something to show for all my hard
work knowledge. Thanks!

Obligation To Use Realtors?Hi. This question may likely irk
realtors reading this. But am hoping to get answers from all sides.
I recently listed my house with a local realtor. Though it may
sound made-up, a week or 2 prior to contacting the
Realtor I called a number that was on a postcard
from one of the services that offer to buy your home from you. I
figured this would be a quicker process than listing / showing the
house. However, because the postcard was dated the phone number was
no longer active. So I proceeded with the realtor. Just this
weekend I received an updated postcard from the same service. So I
called the number and the person says they are indeed very
interested in buying, would only buy directly from me at a price
not including realtor's commission, else they cannot flip the house
for a profit. The person informs me that I can simply terminate my
listing agreement, and pay a breakage fee. Then I'm free to sell
the house to him. Other than bad business practice, do I have a
legal leg to stand on if I do break the listing agreement? Does the
fact that I did attempt to contact this service prior to my listing
agreement, and that it was my intent to not use a
Realtor at the time help? I am indeed committed to
paying commissions to the
Realtor on any other
buyers, but feel with this buyer the circumstances preceded my
business dealing with the realtor. The language in the listing
agreement says commission is earned / payable upon any sale of the
property by seller to anyone at any price on any terms. Based on
this I don't believe I have an 'out' like the buying service person
says. I definitely don't want to be mislead by him, so he can buy
the house, only to find out I was foolish to think I can break my
listing agreement that simple. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Freelance Marketing Assistant -stuck In The Middle...?I am a
freelance marketing coordinator for realtors. I work for a local
company and I assistant agents too. I create flyers, brochures,
postcards, presentations, business cards, enhance photos, do ad
layouts, upload photos to website and do other web updates. My
question is I feel I've hit a brick wall. I am not a graphic
designer and I'm not interested in going to school for that
necessarily. I work on Office '07 - Publisher, Powerpointe, outlook
etc. and enjoy it but I would like to make more $ and offer more
services but I'm really not sure what else I can do.

Question About Renting A Condo?I am currently finishing out a 12
month lease on a condo I have rented. My lease expires end of
September. My landlord/condo owner is also a Remax
Realtor and he informed me approx 1 month ago that
he would be selling the condo. My question is what rights do I have
until my lease expires? He has listed the condo and put a sign out
and has already shown the place a few times, asking me if I could
leave for a while while the condo is shown. The kicker today is
that I got in my mail a postcard that has the condo shown with a
notice that there would be an open house this sunday from 1-3pm. He
never even said anything to me about it....What the hell is this?
Don't I have a right to privacy/live in this condo until my lease
is up? I have friends coming over Sunday and now I have to deal
with this...... Sorry, I live in Vermont
