player. I'm looking for

become amazing, outstanding, and I'll be remembered. When it gets
Warm enough, I'll practice, but I'm not sure when
that will happen, we still have snow here in Michigan... So can you
help me out??? Anything from rebounding to shooting to ball

Is It Good To Workout After Or Before Playing Sports?I am on a
vertical leap training program, and I work my upper body out as
well. I do dynamic warm-up stretches/contractions before doing any
type of activity with my body. I also play basketball/ do a lot of
Basketball Drills both shooting,
dribbling, offensive moves, and finish moves. I was wondering... is
it bad to play sports after you work out? or before you work out?

What Should I Change On How Im Gonna Practice Basketball?in the
morning do conditioning drills(1hr) when i get back from school
rest for an hour then at 5:00pm start

30minutes then do dribbling drills(1hr) skills (30minutes) shooting
Drills (1hr) rebounding(30minutes) then end at
8:30 then before i go bed i do stuff like push ups like (45) then
pressups(45) i wanna be in the nba one day is this good enough or

What Type Of Exercise Should I Do In The Morning?I was planning on
continuing to jog every morning when I wake

5:00 am for about 30 minutes but I was thinking about maybe just
walking (or dribbling) to a
Basketball court and
doing drills, shoot around (run to get every rebound), and kind of
play shadow

someone is playing defense with a lot of intensity)? Would it be as
good as jogging, not as affective, or better with maybe a 10 minute

How Should I Practice

Defense, Free Throws, The Works)?I didnt make my team last year in
seventh grade, but mostly because i was nervous. I know that if i
went back, i would have made the team. But now i am a year behind.
Over this summer, not only will i be practicing hard, but i will be
teaching my sister as she is moving

and 6 grade league. So tell me great drills, and way that two
people can practice well together. I want to know your basic
practice routine. I am going to make a routine for us. Like start
off with conditioning, then dribling drills, then layups, then
warm-up jumpers, then offensive and defensive drills, the n a 1 on
1. All and all 1 to 2 hours of practice in a regular session. I
need to know some good drills. My sis and i will be home alone all
summer, and plan on getting ready for next years sports. She plays
softball and basketball, i play football and basketball. thanx for

Basketball Team?ok i wanna know wut
you guys think about this. Ok so i was a freshman in high school
and during try-outs we played games and did many
Drills and i would make smart passes and shots.
During warm-up before the try-outs started i made like 27 three
pointers in a row without missing once and the coaches were
watching me!!! and then i get CUT.. and they said i'm too short!
and I was 5' 7 at the time. what do you guys think about this? well
I'm a Junior this year but

started so should i try out for the
Basketball
team next year?

Basketball Help?okay so there is this senior on the team who i dont
get. he was the only junior last year to start and he starts this
year most of the time. im a junior and i start too. hes a big post
man and im a guard. im captain along with another senior too. this
guy keeps trying to get people to do things like warming
Up before games. i want to do shooting
Drills and layups but he wants to
Warm Up my doing lunges and step
slides. he talks alot out on the floor even when no one else does.
on the bus he just lies down and sleeps, he talk to anyone. and he
doesnt even play in the 4th quarter most of the time. we are 2-6
and lose most of our games by 3 points or so. whats

game, I shoot fine and make most of my shots..But when I get into a
game I pretty much take the ball and throw it at the hoop. I don't
know why but it's like i forget my form. Are there any

Why Do I Get Shocked When I Touch The
Basketball
Rim?Im in the season and whenever I even get within an inch of the
rim a feel a shock and my friends can hear it. I live in minnesota
and its around 0 degrees outside, but inside its plenty warm. My
school has tile floors so i dont think im building
Up a charge all day. I only get shocked when I
touch the rim. I can touch other metal things and not get shocked.
It happens over and over too. I could touch the rim 50 times and
still get a shock as strong as the first. We did a drill today of
boxing out and then exploding
Up and getting as
high
Up as we can. I touched the rim atleast 20
times in that 5-10 minutes and i still got shocked each time. Other
kids on my team dont get shocked so it is really weird why I do. I
have had a cold for a while but i dont thik that would make a
difference. Any ideas?

How Do I Convince My Mom To Let We Quit The Swim Team?My mom
convinced me to join a swim team. I just got back from practice and
am exausted and hurting all over. The other kids were faster than
me and I was embarassed. The instructor didn't help any. She kept
yelling at me to quit taking a break and keep my head sideways when
I breathe. I HATE SWIMMING! I can't breathe and I can feel my lungs
gasping for air but I can't get any. After an hour of stupid

the pool and sat down in my chair and cried. I felt like such an
idiot. All I wanted to do was have fun, but it's torture. And get
this-practice is every day. My mom won't let me quit and she says
I'll like it with time. Now, I'm not a quitter. i always stick to
things, but this is horrible. I tried to tell my mom to get her
money back while she can, but she says no,i have to keep swimming.
I like leisure swimming, not this.Why couldn't she find a summer
Basketball league for me? I love that!I am forced

Loss Of Breath?we run fairly a lot on volleyball, for warmup. and i
loose my breath easily, like do you think i have asma. like we run
five laps around the gym(like
Basketball courts)
and im like out of breath at the end, then we strtch then get a
drink, and since this girl was late15 min. to a scrimage, we have
to run 15 line drills. thats where we run, basicly suicides but you
add a line to suicids and thats what we have to do, and i think i
may pass out, after warming

be happening, i think that after 5 line drills, i will like die i
swear. and we have to do 15!.. gosh please help, do you think i
have asma? im not really overweight, i have a little extra weight
