Recurring UTI's - Home Remedy Issues?I've had recurring UTI's with no specific cause. They trigger easily and I've been off and on several antibiotics. Today I tried some home remedies and I think I went overboard. Now I don't know what's wrong exactly...the bladder infection is gone, but I'm experiencing foaming at the mouth and slight dry mouth along with a hot feeling around the shoulders and arms especially. It's the opposite of how you feel if you have a fever. I am also slightly nauseous and dizzy. Can anyone pinpoint which thing might be causing these side effects? Help.. UTI?last year i had atleast 5-6 UTI's and this year i have had 4 now.. i have noticed that they always follow within 2days of sex and i got so embarrassed going into the doctor almost every month that i found a home Remedy online.. drinking water mixed with Baking Soda for 3days.. well this has worked amazingly but not so much this time.. well it was working because i felt better for about a day and then all of a sudden last night it flaired up again.. so now im drinking it with even more Baking Soda (this is nasty by the way) and im worried about why it flaired... i know that last time i drink it until i felt better then stopped.. and it came back.. so i suppose i didnt drink it long enough.. and now im concerned that i could be resisting the Baking soda? is this possible? and my next question is why am i getting them so much! i generally pee after sex but sometimes i go b4 and fall asleep waiting to need to pee.. and yep thats when i get the infections. but usually im safe as long as we both shower... which we did.. so why do i get them? also before when i went to the doctor they sampled my urine and couldnt actually find anybacteria that would be causing this.. help :( [ Read More ]

Health Professionals HELP! My Hands Are Dry And The Joints In My Hands Are Stiff!?Whenever I wake up it is worst and as the day goes on it gets a little bit better but some days I have to take ibuprofen otherwise my hands hurt really bad and sometimes my feet put not as often as my hands. The other day I had a pain from my kidney that shifted all the way down to my left testicle (I think I had a uti) and home remedies (teaspoon of Baking Soda in a glass of water) made me feel better but I still have the thing with my hands. Could the think with my hands be because something is wrong with my kidneys? Could I have nephrogenic systemic fibrosis and that is why my hands are stiff and joints ache? I am only 23 and this sucks I hope it isnt something serious! Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? I do remember about a year ago when I gave blood on my college campus I think they used that machine to take out my red blood cells and put everything else back and it is possible that they took too much blood. Would that damage my kidneys and cause this? Personally Im never giving blood again I dont trust those people who they have do those things... To be more specific about the pain in my kidney first it started in my lower left kidney, then over the course of some days I felt an pain in the back (worse when I sat down) that shifted to an almost unbearable pain in the bottom part of my scrotum (left han side); not sure but possibly my epididymitis. It Stings When I Pee?Here is my problem. I am a 32 year old woman. This started a 8 days ago. It started to burn when i urinated. So i started a home Remedy of cranberry juice and two teaspoons of Baking Soda with water (you drink it). I started this on the 3rd day and on the 4th i went to a doctor. He did the test for Uti but it came back negative. He seemed to think that the cranberry juice/baking Soda home remedies worked. He also gave me a Rx for antibiotics just in case it didn't go away. It did seem to be getting better, it would not burn so much, now it is a slight sting. So i started the antibiotics, they are for 3 days and i am on the last pill tonight. But it is still a slight sting. I don't have to urinate more than usual. I have a steady boyfriend. I don't understand? Does anyone have suggestions? Unlike Any Other UTI?I have wat seems to be a Uti (Urinary Tract infection), I have been very prone to these while growing up. But this one is the most PAINFUL I have EVER had. My Cat Is Allergic To What I Sprayed On The Carpet - Ideas On How To Remedy The Situation?Hey everyone! The rescue kitten Olivia peed on my bed, which she's now being treated for a UTI. I felt a wetspot on the carpet too so I treated the area with Natures Miracle per their directions. However, my Siamese cat Thai's eyes are watery and he started sneezing like the dickens since I sprayed that product on the carpet and I know he doesn't have a URI, so its most definitely that he's being irritated by the freshener. I gave him some Benadryl last night which helped tremendously, but I don't want him on medication - what's the best way to get rid of the allergen? I vacuumed and tried to remove the 'scent' using a little Febreeze (I know that doesn't bother him, I use that a lot), but it didn't really seem to help. I opened the windows and turned the fans all on to try and circulate the air, but short of steam cleaning the carpets, is there anything else I can do? Natures Miracle works great, but go figure that my cat would be allergic to it! LOL. Is there a way to mix like Baking Soda or something and rub it on the carpet and vacuum to pick up the scent?
