Do You Think It'd Be Okay To Give A Baby Gripe Water On A Daily Basis?My 7 month (almost 8 month) old baby boy gets very constipated, is teething, and has reflux... and well, Gripe Water works For reflux, teething, and making Babies have regular bowel movements. Do you think it'd be okay to give 2 teaspoons (the recommended dosage For his age) once a day or twice a day? Acid Reflux Babies, A Sleep Question?Does your little one sleep on their tummy? I have heard so many times that this is the most comfortable For them. Sophie is 5 months old and takes Zantac twice a day. She seems content except at bedtime. She keeps waking up grunting and kicking her legs out, locking them at the knees. She cries and fusses. I've tried everything: gas drops/tylenol/gripe water/pumping her legs/and even nursing her. The only thing that stops her crying is For me to roll her onto her stomach. She farts really loud and goes to sleep instantly. So, I try to roll her back over and she wakes up grunting and crying in like 5 minutes. I put her back on her stomach and out she goes. She has done this For 4 days in a row now. I didn't get a wink of sleep last night because I had to keep checking on her to make sure she was breathing ( I know her neck muscles are strong enough now and she pushes up a little with her hands too, but I'm still paranoid!). Her MD said soon enough she will be rolling over and I couldn't stop her from sleeping on her stomach. I'm just scared. She sleeps soooooo well on her stomach though. Any Safe Home Remedies For Solution Of Acid Reflux For A 2 Week Old Baby ?My 2 week old baby is suffering from silent acid reflux. He is not able to settle at night at all as he keeps getting up every 10 mins and choking. He also cries a lot due to trapped wind I think as he keeps bunching his legs into his tummy. Bad Case Of Reflux In Babies!?My Son is 16 weeks this coming week and from birth has suffered very bad reflux, (so the docs r saying) he does not stop crying, he arches his back during the day screaming and also during feeds. He Was sick after very feed and thru out the day went thru about 20 bibs aday. We've tried the following medicines : infacol, dentinox, Gripe water, ranitidine and now have been given domperidone, and carabel thickener to put in his bottle and calpol For the pain hes in, still nothing has stopped him crying in pain he has stopped being so sick due to the thickener but the pain i believe has got worse since being on the domperidone, he has been on it For 1 week and the paediatritcian said try For 2 weeks if no better go back, but what else could be causing my son so much discomfort, its horrible to see. he only sleeps For 6 housrs at night.
