How To Make A Vegetable Garden Planter Box - Is It Really Important To Thin When Starting A Vegetable Garden?I am like the beginners novice when it comes to growing veggies n herbs. I have my veggies (peas lettuce pepperes cucumbers and green beans) planted in 40 by 18 planter boxes (24 deep). The instructions on seed packets are really brief! It says to thin when everything gets to a certain height. What will happen if I DONT thin them out? I cant figure out how 2 post pix but I would so appreciate it if someone would be willing to take the time to look at any pix I can email to them! I know its crazy but I spent about 0 on all the things I needed and I am hoping to get more than 1 small garden salad out of it! But I dont know what Im doing and have yet to meet a knowledgeable staff person in any store and Ive been to every-single-one.
