Yahoo Won't Install/Complete, Encounters Problem, Easy Fix?Just yesterday my Instant messenger had failed and started freezing during voice conference. So I started uninstalling the application, and my computer shut down. Now when I go to install it (clean install) it won't work, and continuously gives me the 'Yahoo! Instant Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close, We are sorry for the inconvenience.' window, and it shuts off. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and in several different ways, I even clicked uninstall and then put the yahoo folder in my File Shredder from Spybot to make sure it was gone, and it still doesn't work. Is ' Spy Shredder' A Bona - Fide Anti Spy / Virus Download.?I was browsing the available security down loads inadverterently downloaded a 'free scan system check' the screen froze. I was requested to pay for download the full system for US $90 - like hell I did. It allegedly found 60+ problems. I am already running Avast anti virus Spybot search destroy these showed no problems .I had to re boot uninstall the files from system, then activate Spybot to remove spy shredder. Since these problems I have lost my screen saver picture. I have tried setting one from my photo gallery but just get a black screen. This may or may not have been caused by spy shredder. How Do I Delete This File?Hi, a couple days ago my friends laptop got infected by the 'Security toolbar 7.1' virus. I have fixed most of it but i cant delete and unregister a File called ddayx.dll. I cannot rename it or delete it even in safe mode and with safemode with command prompt. I tried HijackThis, unlocker, and the Spybot S D shredder. When i try to unregister the File windows says that it acnt find an entry point. When i try to delete the File or rename it i get the messege that it is in use. Is it possible to boot from a linux cd and delete the file? Vundufix or symantec's fixvundu progrmas don't work on it. Please help. Really Weird Bug On Windows...?ok, I am running a windows xp, first of all. I made a folder on one of those usb drives and for some reason it contained 3 files!!!!! There was an empty folder that was 982 megabytes, modified on Monday, March 05, 2040!!!!! There was also a File that was 1.69 gigabytes, modified on 2037... and a File that was just a file, no modified or anything... and when I click on them it says they are broken and I cant delete them, Spybot search and destroy's File Shredder doesn't work either!!! I have had problems with this usb drive in the past, though. The drive was made by Lenovo and I did not know any other details about it. My dad carried it off now so it cant be fixed for a while... Which Is Better And Which Should I Keep? (anti-spyware?)?I was wondering which spyware should I use and which is better. WIndows Defender, Adware free, or spybot- search and destroy. I know Spybot has some nice feature like immunize and the File shredder, Windows Defender is the only free one with real time protection but i don't know how good that is. (it takes so long to scan too) and i don't know much about adware. Which one should I use and is it okay to have more than one anti-spyware on your computer. I Have A Bug On My PC That Wont Let Me Download CW Shreddder, Run Spy Bot Or Boot In Safe Mode.?Whenever i try to download CW Shredder i get the PC has lost internet connection screen.(which is funny cause that the only time i get that screen... My PC Is Running Extremely Slowly.?Just lately my computer has become extremely slow. I takes a very long time to open files and applications.
